i've been struggling to find a good book lately but i just read two back to back five star reads and cant wait to share them! have you read anything amazing lately or are you in a 'meh' book period too?
currently reading M. L. Wang new dark academia "Blood Over Bright Haven" and I feel like this is going to be on my top list!!!!!

I’m in a serious slump. Like been reading pages here and there the last couple of weeks and not finishing anything. I’m almost halfway done with ACOMAF and I’m enjoying it but I’m just idk. IDK. Like at all lol
Whenever I'm in this mood, I find that middle grade is the way to go. Currently reading A Pinch of Magic (about 3 sisters with magical objects on an adventure to break the family curse) and I'm looking at The Marvellers (magical boarding school set on the clouds) as my next read.

Cari, I love your channel and would really like to recommend a book for you. I am a romantic girlie and there's this author that I love and just don't see many creators talking about, Mhairi McFarlane. I would recommend If I Never Met You, which has a few famous tropes but also the good writing of hers, which focuses on the characters feelings and their development. I love it cause they feel real and I think you would have lots of fun with it. Love you girl!

We are having a bit of a rainy season here in Manchester too. I come from Oklahoma where it rains like 10 times a year 😂. So the whole raining for 2 weeks straight thing is very foreign to me. It is putting a damper on the summer experience though.

Love it when you do bookish vlogs 💗💗currently reading Kafka on the Shore and i love the imagery but the shift to sexualization is such a whiplash to me because we're talking about the scenery and then boobs??! Even though I could see and understand a 15yr old would think this like I get the tweets about Murakami books now. Anyways loving the imagination and writing esp the rural library.
My favorite Kyobo store is at Gwanghwamun. They update new releases fast, and there are way more English books than Gangnam.❤ I never leave without buying at least 2 books.😂

You really shouldn't worry about your vlogs being "repetative", because 1) i watch them all and I think they are diverse enough so that people would watch each one because each would provide a different ~adventure~ and 2) I'm the type of person that if I really like a youtuber I would watch my favourite videos from them over and over again, to the point where I'd know what the person is gonna say next, so if you make videos that feel similar, then it's perfect that it provides the same vibes that we love, but also a little bit different enough to the point where we would be bored. So don't worry and just keep doing what you do, because we love your content, whatever you put out. (sorry if I was hard to follow, Im not even sure if I made sense)
