    Korean has a lot of vowels that are so close to sounding the same- at least from a beginners perspective, and yet they’re writing system differentiates
    all of it so efficiently

    This is the much needed lesson for absolute beginners. Romanisation is definitely not the right way to learn Korean or any other language. I found this when I romanised a song lyrics and there is no similarities between pronunciations and the romanised spellings. From then I started searching for Korean writing system 한글. Learn how to pronounce. And then I never go back to the romanised version for songs lyrics and recently I have started learning Korean through TTMIK.
    너무 감사합니다.

      True. Get your language in a direct way. It's not only for characters but also when you speak. If you think of your first language ahead for making a sentence and then translate it into Korean, you won't be able to fluent speaking Korean. It will take a lot of time to make one sentence and you will not be sure if you were right. Try not think anything when you hear something in Korean and repeat it many times. It will help you. If you like learning Korean language and also culture, my channel will also be helpful for you. You can come and check it out. 😉

      Same, I saw some people that said that romanisation was definitely not the right way so I’m going to learn how to pronounce. It’s better.

    the sound of the vowels are pretty easy for portuguese speakers, including ㅡ bc we have ã/â which makes the exact same sound. ㅜ and ㅗ we can clearly hear the difference too! i love it!!

    • @SnackyKorea

      Yes i heard that Español and portuguese are pretty easy to speak for Koreans. At least the pronuncation. If you like learning little fun facts of Korean culture, you can come and check my channel :)

    • @dialogoemmaos
      @dialogoemmaos หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@anak_kucing101 It depends on how keen is the listen skill haha... Because the Pinyin system is not equivalent to some of our accent marks, and also, the words in Portuguese don't change the meaning if you pronounce in a different tone

    The Arabic language is closer than the English language in terms of sounds and letters, but I prefer to study Korean with English. Now the sentence order in Arabic is very far from Korean, according to me. I speak three languages, which are English, Arabic and Korean, and the three are very close to each other.
