I noticed that day 1 of og was so much harder. And the next day it was a little easier. And now I've gotten 2 wins and 15+ kill games are happening. It doesn't feel the same
It really was a challenging mode on day one but I did enjoy feeling the warmth of human contact in the game even if that contact was getting one pump shotgunned to the face to send me back to the lobby 🤣
it'd make sense that the mode is empty, because they advertised "og" in hopes old players would come back, but when everybody realised og isn't og and everybody got lied to, people just uninstalled the game again. The current "og" mode there is in game is an absolute joke, it's nothing like og except the map and weapons
@ricofighter I've been enjoying it more than the main BR now, tbh. It's just different and more direct gameplay with no gimmicks and also snipers which I'm a fan of. I didn't play then but I don't think it can ever never truly be like it was in the beginning and people need to accept that.
@ it would be good enough if they made everything og, the vaulting and sprinting and some weird turbo build everyone keeps talking about, those are the main problem
I'm not saying sprinting and vaulting and whatever are bad mechanics, but you cannot expect og players to come back to a supposed "og" return and play with new age mechanics. OG fortnite used to be played slow and until the last circle to win a match, usually people wouldn't even fight and wait till the last second to not reveal themselves. Nowadays there are these mechanics to speed up the gameplay for brainrotted kids because if the gameplay was slow they'd lose interest That's what made OG fortnite OG
The thing that absolutely screws me over is that its not like around 10 bots to finish filling up a nearly full lobby. But depending on your skill level, you will be put into lobbies with 40-90 bots. At that point its just a PVE game.
@@MelvinUsesMicrowaves It's ludicrous that a game with the number of players Fortnite has would feel the need to do this. Worst thing about the game by far.
Great video, 2 problems though. 1°- Bots, pad out lobbies so that shit players can have a feel for the game. The issue with removing them, is that the really bad, 6 year old playing on his dad's ps5, that was dangling in his pa's ballsack when the game released, is gonna get queued against people playing the game for 16 hours a day, giving them no chance what so ever. Also, the interest of SBMM, is that older, better players, will get queued against other, older and better players, so it evens out the playing field. 2°- OG will never be as popular as it once was, because what brought people into the game, was the save the world mechanic of building, which was absent from every other competitor on the market in 2017, H1Z1, PUBG and Minecraft Hunger Games all were missing building, it wasn't the cartoons, it wasn't the skins, it wasn't the CCs shamelessly collaborating with internet celebs to get fame are attention. Fortnite OG has no grabbing, people were drawn for nostalgia, but the skins that people care for will forever be locked away, meaning, that not only is there no gameplay incentive, there's no material incentive either.
I try not to hate as I do love the game but some things are just... Nonsense. 😉 It's the awesome player base that makes this game what it is, if only they were respected as such by the developers...
Or none even once you've played a few games. I think it's insulting to players of the game to think they need constant target practise and not just letting us get better game sense by matching us with other actual humans.
For a brand new game I think that would be debatable but I don't personally think it is for Fortnite in 2024. I do appreciate that there are some good arguments for it, though
It’s just bothers me so much that there isn’t 100 real players anymore. It feels more like 60 real players at most.
@@thawg5500 it's even less than that sometimes. I saw stats from a Reload game which said it was 30 AI vs 9 human players. That's ridiculous.
Just try ranked

@@violethammerstein6315 yeah I've had some good games and some wins now but I think I liked it better when it was more challenging on day 1 🤷♂️
I’ve seen people saying that OG needs an “employed” mode 🤣🤣 playing OG made me appreciate where Fortnite is now!!!

Almost to 100 subs! I’m # 98! Hope you reach that milestone cause you’re video is actually kinda good
Thank you very much for the support. "Kinda good" is always what I strive for in my video quality 🤣 jokes aside, I appreciate the love!
Looks good for others but my game is way slower this chapter.
ya its so dumb epics begging for plaers to hate it

Low-key less bots (25 at most) and making them all wear the default skin would be way better

@LewHammer true true, I think good SBMM is a step in the right direction, keeps everyone happy that way, players can naturally get better over time.
Yeah if only they'd had enough resources and time to be able to develop a good sbmm system...
@@LewHammer there minimum 10 bots tho even at highest sbmmm
@@jadensouza8509 yeah it's really not a very good system.
Bots are needed. Otherwise tons of players wouldnt play.

Then they shouldn't
And its players like you why we have bots because you can't hang with 99 real players there shouldn't be bots in BR at all
