    Hey Rockhounds,
    I've had a lot of new subscribers this year and would like to thank everybody who is joined the channel.
    Many people have asked for longer videos and so I decided to make a recap video in case you had missed any of my rockhounding adventures during 2021.
    Thanks again and keep hounding!

    125 views and only a couple comments on a kickass video?! I've already seen all this footage but still cool to see it all in one video. I have some material just like the stuff at 9:20 (I think was the time note) in my rock tumbler right now. Were you in Nevada there? Thats where I was told the material came from. Just gorgeous stuff! Bro, your videos are so awesome. I mean seriously though! I would love to get a chance to go hounding with you again. Have a great weekend, Andrew!

    I appreciate that you don't go out there and tear stuff up.
    I unsubscribed from another Oregon hound because he destroyed far more good material than was necessary to collect what he took, and that infuriates me. Irresponsible. Gets us kicked out, makes us unwelcome.

      Thanks! I really appreciate your support.
      I try to keep the land as I found it and mostly rely on erosion to expose new material. Sometimes i will do some chipping to get a better specimen but most of what I find is on the surface.

    I would be bringing my self blow up mattresses and my micro foam cover for the mattress! I will most likely have back issues, if I have them at home, more than likely I would have the same issues out threre as well. All that gravel is ancient gravel beds! That's where you can find gold! so I wonder if someone dug and panned some of that gravel? Interesting. Someone obviously saw that and knew right away what could be in that ancient river bed! How exciting! Plus it looks like someone accidentally plannted some squash? Or is the huge leafed plant local to the area? It happens alot to near places,and that people occupy especially near water, tthere will be a random strawberry bush or something growing that didn't grow there previously. From humans eating and tossing the leftover fruits or seeds. It would be a great idea to help the local wildlife out, but probably frowned upon by wildlife enforcement.

    • @Debbie4729
      @Debbie4729 ปีที่แล้ว

      The plant that had the giant circular leaves are water plants.I don't know their names,but we can find them growing in the North Fork of the Yuba river in Northern Ca.I tried transplanting a root to my home once,when i didn't know what I was doing-before i knew about what plants need to survive.It failed of course,but they still fascinate me!

    I'm pretty sure the Rocky broke open there around a minute and 30 some type of sea fossil I have a lot of those in my collection I'll actually almost every rock that I have there's agitized is I don't still don't know what kind of fossil they are but it looks a lot like the ones that I have found them on the Oregon California border but I'm finding them up here and Myrtle Creek but they're not agitized a lot of them. Have been touched by the native Americans I think they were releasing the fish's spirit from the fossil because most of those fossils seem to have a fish inside
