Sounds like has the seal of approval from all the ladies. Remember, this was 13 years into his career. Singers usually have a short shelf life, and most of that time, especially after his 2 year stint in the army from 1958-60, he didn’t tour or perform live at all, as he was doing movies, most of them formulaic love story musicals. So the fact that he returned to performing so seamlessly after that time and people still remembered him and loved him shows the impact he had. And he made a lot of other singers famous by singing their songs. Little Richard loved Elvis and credits him for helping make his Tutti Fruitti a hit. Nobody know what that song meant. It’s so funny. Little Richard was gay. There’s actually a raunchier, more explicit version of that song which makes it clear.

I was 15 when this was on tv and I remember my Mom literally stood up from the chair when he changed gears in this song.
This is one of my favorite live recordings of Elvis (68 Comeback). Elvis was at his best. He was so handsome here & looked so cool in his black leather. This was an intimate setting with the audience members sitting around him. You could see how relaxed & at ease he was. He had a great voice & could sing anything whether it was ballads, gospel or rock.
