It’s been over a year and a half since I’ve had feelings for someone, even though I’ve dated plenty of girls in that amount of time. Sometimes it feels like I’m just going through the motions instead of finding something that makes me feel special and truly loved. I feel Synthetic and this song came up at a perfect point in my life. Going to keep trying and keep looking for something that makes me feel like more than just a machine. Thank you The Midnight ❤
This music video has made me realise that Kim Cattrall & Andrew McCarthy didn't receive enough credit for their roles in Mannequin: they acted the shit out of the film! The concept for the film was absurd yet they managed to make it work and got audiences to really feel for their characters.
Synthetic & Sunset are The Midnight's best songs. They capture the essence of The 80s soo well. I am thankful I was a kid in the 80s and like everyone else, it was the best decade to grow up in. It was a much simpler time. Watching this video takes me back there. Thank you.
The song's music and lyrics goes so well with the video like it was meant for it. Commendable job because I am sure it made most of us relate to the whole song and the video , definitely made us cry too
The 80s must have been a great time to be alive. People had solid foundations, but were open to new things. People had energy for days, but knew when enough was enough. People dared to dream big together and did their part in making the world a better place, not only talk about how others fail to do so.

@@jroxz5689 A bit of nostalgia for when we were younger is natural...whether or not times truly were better, we will remember our youth and the period of time before we had responsibilities (or as many responsibilities anyway) and less worries as 'better'.
