I was born mid-1979 and grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. I can tell ya, it was an amazing time to grow up. No, you didn’t have smartphones, the internet (for the most part), GPS, or HDTV with streaming services. But you know, we got to experience the excitement of ALL of those things and more come into being. Among so many other things. It was mind-blowingly exciting. But I actually miss not having those things just the same. Things seemed to mean more back then, because everything wasn’t instantly accessible like today. In a way though, growing up in that era has ruined me as an adult. I loved it so much, that I’ve dealt with crippling depression today, missing those times. So you may be lucky having not grown up then.

As an 80's teenager, the world was dreamy. The Combination of FM-84's music, Ollie Wride's voice and every fabulous movie moment I grew up on, this video made me feel like a kid again. Everything was perfect.
Now we are all slaves to technology, completely drowning in social media fake shit. Along with the most useless and fragile generation ever, all woke and gender confused.
Going to miss this life when it's over. Because I grew up in the greatest damn time to grow up. Hands down. Hopefully, my kids will feel the same about whatever I transfer to them from this time period of my childhood to them.
