- Corgi created his catalog in a very unconventional way. The format was not standard. Excellent graphics make it, in my opinion, one of the best toy car catalogs ever. The company started off strong with its cover, featuring characters from iconic series of the time. The first pages feature models based on children's idols' cars.

Wow what a trip down memory lane, had so many, wish I could go back and tell myself to take better care of them. Have gone and searched and got myself a few very good examples of my favourites which are now on display. to remind me of those times
Cheers Peter
It's super cool so Remind yourself of your beloved childhood models. Regards Peter
I'm eight years old again...
Happy days, thank you Paul.
Cool. Best wishes
Brings back memories the price in pounds shillings and pence wonderful thank you Paul what a memorable time😊
Thank you very much . Cool
Paul, the Monte Carlo gift set, brings me back very happy memories of Christmas 1963, along with the commer constructor set, which I still have
Cool. Best wishes
As always, thank you Paul! Times were so simple back then, no electronics, just imagination!
Beautiful catalogue with so many fantastic models featured! It makes me appreciate the huge range of models Corgi were producing back then. As a 1950’s child Corgi Toys were my favourite die-cast toys, I loved everything about them, and at Christmas time would visit the Selfridges toy department just to look & wonder at the vast array of superb Corgi Toy models on show - it was like The Motor Show but for die-casts!
I’ve been rediscovering the Corgi Toys magic thanks to the superb re-issues that the Corgi Model Club has been producing… they really are first class replicas of the original items… far better quality imo than the current Corgi range!
Thank you very much, cool
That is brilliant. I remember having several of these. The white Marcos with stripes and the James Bond car were my favourites. I also had the car transporter. Oh to be 8 years old again.
Thank you very much
Always interesting to see these old models again . .Thanks . .
Thank you very much
Ty i twoja rodzina macie miły tydzień i bądźcie zdrowi. Pozdrowienia z Cuxhaven, Paul

What a journey through time, what a catalogue. 😁👍🏼 I was born in 1966. I can still remember the models of the 70s, but I only know the models of the 60s from pictures. The Classic Cars were great. It's just nice to be able to see something like that again. Thanks for sharing my dear Paul. You and your family have a nice week and stay healthy. Greetings from Cuxhaven, Paul

Cool
Excellent paul some great castings in there 👍
All the best Martin
Thank you very much Martin
Really good to view a catalogue from the peak period of Corgi model production. Being a kid in the 1960's I was lucky enough to be able to collect many of the models illustrated.
Encouraged to give most away to a younger member of the family as I got older and became more interested in the opposite sex, rather than model cars. Now, much older, I find myself collecting again to remind myself of those happy times, and also show appreciation for the attention to detail of the model makers.
Thanks for posting.
Cool
Very nice catalog walkthrough as always. Thanks for sharing!
I had so many from this catalog!
Cool . Best wishes
At that time, there were already beautiful models. Great video again 😎👍

Cool. Best wishes
Still got a good number of these. Item no. 474 the Ford Thames Wall's Ice Cream Van with chimes has just been reissued and I've got one on order. 150,000 of the original version were produced between 1965 & 1968. Buy a copy of the April 2021 'Railway Modeller' magazine and you can buy one for just £1.99 (RRP £19.99).
Thank you very much for the tips. Mom, the original copy of this Ford will definitely be renewed by me, only the preparations take quite a long time.
Witam w ten niedzielny poranek 👍👍👍👍

VERY Good❗😄
THANK YOU
my friend😄
Thank you very much
Corgi was at the top of their form then. I was living in Okinawa and there was only one store that sold Corgis. I had the gold 007 Aston Martin, the first Batmobile, and a few other models and regret that I hadn't bought more. Corgi was the best maker of miniature cars--no other manufacturers put so much features into their cars.
Cool
👍32 super video pozdrawiam Olivier 👍
Dzięki wielkie
great presentation my friend :)
Thank you
Nice one Paul 😃🍻👍🏻
love this thanx........loved my Corgi's.
Cool. Best wishes
Parabéns Paul, mais um catálogo muito interessante.
A piece of history
Most of them are under 10 shillings 50 pence in today’s money love the video I had most of what’s being shown my mum gave them all away 😢
cool
Super !!! Pozdrawiam
Dziękuję bardzo
Also have the gold DB Aston Martin. All features still work.
Cool .Best wishes
Such a shame that the original Corgi Classics weren't popular. They were so much better than the Models of Yesteryear.
Superbe catalogue qui rappelle bien des souvenirs. J’avais la Batmobile, l’Aston Martin DB5 (en gris) de James Bond ainsi que le tracteur Massey-Fergusson qui faisait un cliquetis en roulant. Merci !
Merci beaucoup
Meus parabéns Paul mais um fantástico catálogo 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Muito obrigado
Nice thankyou Paul
Best wishes Brians
Corgi 1966 🗓👍👏👏👏👏👏 The Best 👍
I had most of those. Thankfully my mum gave them to my cousins. Wasn’t I kind to them and Mr Balderston the shop keeper.
Cool
HeHe memories !! I had a few of these and there's quite a few there I had completely forgetten about. 👌👍
Cool. Best wishes
Hey Paul is that a saw blade in front of the Bat Mobile ?
Awesome catalogue. Mike Espo .
Thank you so much Mike. Yes of course it is a saw blade. Best wishes
Awesome 😎.
merci paul
Meilleurs vœux
Thanks
Best wishes
Apart from several of the cars, the fire engine, Joes Diner, and a tractor, I think I have that single garage....but it's a bit tumble-down now!
ool Best wishes
Oh the memories! I had so many of those, some I still have although a little the worse for wear
The worst decision Corgi made was changing the cast wheels to the plastic Whizzwheels. The same goes for Dinky and Matchbox, with their change to plastic Speedwheels and plastic Superfast wheels.
Cudownie, sposób w jaki przeglądasz ten katalog, Paul. Wystarczająco dużo czasu, żeby wszystko obejrzeć. Pozdrowienia Jan
Vielen Dank Jan
Muito show.👏👏👏👏
Muito obrigado
paul to ja ej czemu ty nie robisz jakis większych modeli
Może w przyszłości? Pozdrawiam serdecznie Kamil
I always preferred the corgi and dinky models to matchbox, more realistic.
Wow! I had the U.N.C.L.E. car!
Bellissimo dove si può trovare un catalogo come questo grazie per il video 😉👋
Grazie mille
Apart from the buildings, I still have a lot of these in their boxes. Looking to get rid of them soon, not that I don't like them, I just want to downsize a bit.
What do you suggest? Write me an email

@@PaulRestorer Hi Paul. I'm not sure what to do sometimes. I love all my cars, but my kids don't have an interest in them as I do.I would of probably handed them down to them as they get older. Most of them I bought from a model shop in the early 1980s, when I was about 19 to 25 years old. I did sell a few back to the shop owner who I bought them from. I sold them about 6 years ago, as we needed to pay some bills and debts, so I was willing to sacrifice some of them to pay the bills! I just thought, " do i keep lots of cars to gather dust, or pay my bills?" I will think about it Paul. If I decide to sell some, I will let you know. Thanks for responding to me.
@@hideouslyugly Cool.Best wishes
Is there a 1960 corgi catalogue of the cars.
Wow
Thank you very much
Did they show Lions of Longleat?
I have no idea
@@PaulRestorer they didnt cuz that model wasn't out yet.1968 that model came out.
Hmm that so well.
Thank you very much
sorry, don't you have NSU Prinz ?
Unfortunately, at the moment I haven't been able to get this model, but I'm still looking for it
mega
Dzięki wielkie
Skompletował Pan już cały rocznik 1966.
I have corgi toy policeman sale :v
Cool
Any Britons here who can explain the price list (starting at 8:24)? I mean, 6/10... what? 😅
monstermirror
It's from pre decimal days. 6/10 means 6 shillings and 10 pence up till the early 70s Britain used a pounds / shillings and pence currency system, there was also guineas but it's too complicated to get into lol
@@mooremarriott2841 Thanks! I only know quid XD
monstermirror
We can get into slang for cash if you really want to open that Pandora's box .
monstermirror
What is really confusing about the pounds , shillings and pence system is the it was represented by the letters LSD .
What happened to the Corgi collection that was at Lesley headquarters?
The Lesney headquarters produced the Boxes match until 1980 while traffic jams were produced at the Mettoy factory
