You can export as an avi directly from synfig. Make the extension ".avi", target ffmpeg, parameters XviD/divX, video bit rate about 5000. This way you can avoid dealing with thousands of .png files.

Hey, thanks for the video. My file image sequence is completely black. The whole video in OpenShot is black, there is no animation. My animation was done in a black colour and the background was none in Synfig. But why is it black?

I always cut the png in render and change it to .mp4 then my animation is directly converted to vlc player.. Is this process is good or have some Disadvantage

Hallo jess, I have a problem, when i open synfig and do work for some time , it crashes, mine is a stabled one, i reinstalled with new one but it still there

Are your issues with crashing occurring during a specific step (drawing, animating or rendering) or do the crashes seem to be random?

heads up people synfig render quality is inverted. 1 is best quality, 9 is worst.
