I make my own chocolate with 1 c coconut oil melted, 1/4 c cocoa powder, 1/2 c sweetener, splash vanilla, tsp salt. Adjust measurements to taste. It hardens when refrigerated.

☮️ The ChocZero chocolate chips contain Non-GMO Resistant Dextrin. Also called Soluble Corn Fiber. This ingredient has a higher glycemic index than sugar and can raise blood sugar and spike insulin levels more than sugar. It can also affect digestion without health benefits. This is especially important for people diagnosed with diabetes. 🙏🏻💜

@@dw7939 I used to buy ChocZero. I make my own chocolate now melting pure chocolate chips and sweeten with allulose and/or monk fruit. I made chocolate before with cacao paste and cacao butter. It's really good. When I find chocolate chips with only allulose and/or monk fruit, I'll definitely buy them.

If you sweeten the yogurt, you don't need phony chocolate just a high percent dark. Honey is the best for sweetening plain Greek yogurt. Also, this can be modified into a Klondike-type full coated bar.

If you want less crystals in the iced yogurt, let it strain through a steel sieve or cheesecloth for a few hours. Most of the water will drain out, leaving the yogurt much thicker.

Strained yoghurt is called Labneh. I make it as a spread for toast or oatcakes or eating with Lebanese food. Great idea to use as frozen yoghurt. I add salt to Greek yoghurt & put it in a muslin cloth placed in a sieve over a bowl and weighted down. I leave it to strain in the fridge for 24 hrs. It is then very thick. 😋

Kind of hypocritical that you insult people and say "enjoy your sad lives" and then say "some of us choose ❤", doncha think? Especially when ppl are merely mentioning the harm certain ingredients can do to the body. You might note that they are not commenting on anything personal about her, her motives, appearance, etc., but just alerting ppl to certain dangers of using ingredients in her recipes. Respect is not assuming facts not in evidence about the commenters (how do you know anything about their loves) and love is not about pretending you are superior just because you choose to ignore the commenters' observations about the ingredients used.

This video gave me the FUNNIEST idea! So it is SO HOT here this time of year. Any frozen treat is good! People are saying singing thru a straw once a day really help keep our vocal chords youthful (a.k.a. get rid of aging voice with straw singing) but seriously who is going to remember to do that daily? Here is my funny idea! Use my stainless steel reusable straws to make your treat bar recipe instead of the spoons you showed or the popcycle sticks some may use and I have a built in reminder to sing thru my straw! Win, win!

Nice idea but me personally I’m tired of yogurt for an ice cream substitute. To me it doesn’t taste like ice cream- but is still a delicious snack! For someone who’s looking for more of an ice cream flavor I’d suggest using a high quality blender and a tamper or an ice cream machine, and just using frozen bananas (maybe mixed with some fresh vanilla bean or organic vanilla extract) instead of the yogurt.
I’ve had it before and it’s soooooo good as an ice cream “replacement”! 🥰 Thanks for the video.

It's sad that most keto and diabetic food comes with a hefty price tag. I noticed keto broth a small container was almost 9.00 dollars. Broth is already keto theu just slapped keto on it and just upped the price on it. I buy my sugar free or triple zero sugar yogurt at costsco which lasts me about 2 weeks or so depending on if i have 1 or two a day. Some days its hard for me to gag down yogurt. These days, who has the time to make everything from scratch we definitely need more availability with extremely affordable prices and not jacked up prices.

@user-yz8kp4co4e I just buy a case of chicken broth at Costsco, which is way cheaper for 6 32 oz, and then I just add my own seasoning to it to make it taste a bit better. Throw in a little chicken bone marrow and bam. For me, it's about quick and easy. I work full time and take care of my elderly mother when I get home from work and weekends. It was more about the whole keto thing that they call it keto and jack the price up.

In 2019 they gave me 6-9 months to live and they put a shunt in my liver. In 2020 I went into a 2 week coma and was put on life support. In 2023 I decided I needed to make a serious lifestyle change. I went on a strict keto diet, added on exercise, fasting, not all at once, just kept developing with each step. I'm still alive, my doctor tells me I'm in the best health I can be at with stage 4 liver failure and Parkinson's. I no longer have lymphoedema, diabetes, restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea, eliminated several gastro and the colitis issue. It's not an easy lifestyle to live. You have to have massive amounts of willpower and determination. I get tired often, have to take short naps, but that is expected with liver and Parkinson issues. I honestly did it for the health reasons, not so much the weight loss, I have lost 130 lbs and maintaining it. I also eliminated 25 medications per day and only taking 2 medications, one for the liver and one for the Parkinson's. For me, when it came down to it, was a matter of life and death. I was only 45 years old when I was diagnosed with all of this, that was way too young to give up on my life.

Great idea. My daughter is allergic to coconut so almond oil is a great choice as is yoghurt. Make Labneh and flavour with cocoa powder (no sugar).
Most commercial ice-creams in the UK are now made with coconut oil and emulsifiers. What happened to real vanilla ice-cream made using cream, eggs & sugar. I realise that's not light on calories! 🙄😁

Looks yummy. Definitely gonna try it but I'd have to tweak it a bit. I'd use cacao nibs (super antioxidant), instead of choc chips, I'd use the stove top instead of the microwave bc it zaps out all the nutrients (radiation), and I'd swap almonds for peanuts (bc they're anti-cancer). Can't wait to try it!

I'm going to make more today but add flaky kosher salt. Thank you for showing us how to add the chocolate. I see videos where they dunk the frozen yogurt pop in the chocolate but it freezes immediately and it's very cumbersome and frustrating. Drizzling it over the frozen yogurt pop with a spoon is so much better and controlled. Thank you!
