    Comment generated by AI:
    Great video on the current state of artificial intelligence! It's amazing to see the progress that's been made in the field and how AI is transforming various industries. However, as the video points out, we still have a long way to go before we can achieve true artificial general intelligence. It's crucial that we continue to invest in research and development in AI to ensure that it benefits society as a whole. Looking forward to the future of AI and its potential to solve some of the world's most complex problems!

    We are using IBM RPA and Process Automation to replace simply mundane task. And I'm using my Apple Watch to tell me when to stand. LOL

    So using as my study companion

      ChatGPT is great … until it isn’t. I have a video out on the potential harm that could occur (th-cam.com/video/RTCaGwxD2uU/w-d-xo.html) and hope to produce another that demonstrates where it makes factual errors that can be easily verified. Lesson being - trust but verify.

    I asked the ChatGPT about its thoughts on passing the Turing test - here is the answer:
    "Regarding the Turing Test, it's important to note that there's no official 'Turing Test' for me to pass. The test itself is more of a conceptual evaluation of a machine's ability to engage in human-like communication. I don't possess consciousness or independent thought, but my abilities are designed to generate human-like text and respond to various queries. Whether I could 'pass' the Turing Test would depend on a range of factors and human perception, as there are no strict criteria.
    In theory, I am developed to produce human-like text and engage in realistic conversations on a wide array of topics. However, it's crucial to remember that I lack true intelligence or consciousness. The Turing Test is more of a thought experiment than a practical test, and the outcome would be subjective, varying from person to person."

    • @jeffcrume
      @jeffcrume 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d give ChatGPT an A- on that answer. The Turing Test doesn’t require consciousness or independent thought as a criteria, just the ability to simulate human conversation in a convincingly realistic manner.

    The Definition of AI that I like at most is from Elaine Rich:" AI is the study of how to make computers do things at which, at the moment, people are better". So we are there and we will never be there!!

    The definition of general states as an adjective. • not specialized or limited in range of subject, application, activity, etc.
    I guess the question I would ask it is when will it know who, what, when, where and why? Your answer will always be different. This is the ultimate graph case I think. Great job folks as always.

    i think Intelligence is the ability to learn new skills or to adapt to new things and level of intelligence is how fast or slow u can learn.

    • @davesplatz
      @davesplatz ปีที่แล้ว

      ... and also how deep you can learn. I would refer to "speed of learning" as a quantitative measure, whereas the depth and the "improvisational adaptation" of known skills to new problems (call it "creativity") is much greater key understanding something.

    Ok, guys, but there is something chatGPT3 was not able to autocomplete and every boy of 13 yes, as I tested it: claim to machine to play a new semi-exposed game completing the rules to make it interesting. Trivial for children when you show them a proposal of game and very important to imagine different ideologies and philosophical positions.

    • @jeffcrume

      A good example of AGI. So it wouldn’t have passed the Turing Test with you as the subject. We will continue to find limitations for the foreseeable future

    When you have all forms of strong human memory and have a very high presence of mind to wire-up or intertwine those forms of memories in a way that all the dependencies and renderings are perfectly aligned to produce a definitive result for that very given time and situation no matter how many layers of parallel dynamic processing complexity is required then, the function or application of AI or even AGI has performed its duties for achieving the right Intelligence in a human form in theory, even if it's only possible by machines. That's where only Singularity comes in!! 🦸‍♂️
