    Just to clarify everything to non-Saudis here , in Saudi we have two wedding parties one for men and one for women , so the bride is also having a party ,usually more decorative than the men's one , just like everyone else in the world she would wear a white dress and walk down the aisle and her husband will be there in the women party and the women would cover their body while he's there ( except for the bride and and the groom's family ) , before and after the groom is in the hall , everyone will be dancing and having fun and eating dinner .. :)

    • @SanaMF
      @SanaMF 10 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      because women cover their bodies and hair in front of men other than their family , so thats why they are separated so they can wear dresses and so on :)

      Hornet Muslims and non muslims can't control themselves unless either you lie or you are not a man .
      Many Muslims are living in Western countries and all have the same experience as West thoughts .

    for those who are saying that this is a gay wedding, well it's not!!!
    it's because in some muslim weddings the room of celebration for girls and boys are separated. one of the reasons also is that most of the time the girls are wearing sexy gowns also and as you all know guys are not allowed to see them wearing such clothes.

    To all the westerners who are asking about the bride, in most muslim weddings and especially in Arab countries, the men and women have separate halls. The women have their celebrations and festivities going on their side just as the men do on their side. The Bride and the Groom only get together after they are officially married.

    I'm a Westerner and I find this wedding celebration to be beautiful and authentic to the culture. it was just like this in ancient times.
    There is no diversity and authenticity in doing things like the West.
    Not everything Western is appealing to everyone...

    In Saudi Arabia,the different races intermingle easily, happily and without hate or social stratification. This should be a lesson for the West where hatred, social divisions and racial profiling is the order.

    • @DeniseEggertwaterlily
      @DeniseEggertwaterlily 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No social divisions ? No social stratification ? How can you say that ? Men and women are separated and not allowed to celebrate a happy occasion like a wedding together. That is prejudice and segregation of half the population who are prevented from having equal rights.

      Are you fucking stupid? In Saudi, there is A LOT of discrimination against Pakistanis and Indians. Arabs hate them for no fucking reason. And don't even get me started on the women.
      I've been there many times, so you can't even say "You have never been there". This is coming from a Muslim.

And now, we walk around naked, and we say that the Muslims are backward because they wear so much clothes. Can you imagine anything more barbaric? Banning women wearing headscarves?"

      I respect your culture and there could be women who like the way of life you have in Islamic countries. But what about these women who want to decide for themselves? Saying that 'we don't show OUR diamond to a stranger' sounds like you think you can acctually OWN another person and make decisions for her, although everyone should be free to make their own choices. Of course women should be cherished like diamonds, but I think they deserve more freedom though.

    • @DeniseEggertwaterlily
      @DeniseEggertwaterlily 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Men should not have ownership of women and make all of their decisions for them. Making decisions for children is fine but adult women are not children and should have the same rights as adult men . Women should have self determination and decide for themselves if they want to be on camera.

    wedding ceremonies depends on what continent you're on to, what origin and what tribe you belong. The way i see it, most who have negative comments have no awareness of wedding traditions of others. How would they react if they witness that in some part of Africa, brides-to-be are kept in fattening rooms where they "plumped up" before they are sent off to their husbands' homes? In China, starting one whole month in advance the bride starts to cry for 1 hour every day and by the end of the month every female in the family is crying alongside the bride and so many many more.. Strange, but these are tradition filled with lots of symbolism and deep with meaning.o not hollow minded. Do not let your heart ruled by anger and hatred. Be open because we are one race irregardless of our beliefs...

    Just to clarify, women in Islamic (mostly saudi) countries have seperated sections. Men party in one area, and women in another. And by party, we do not mean with drinks or drugs. Islamicly we don't even dance or have music, but arab traditions and cultures do it anyway.

      I know Iran is ruled by bad guys but most Iranians I have met have always been very polite towards me ( as are Turks) . However, arabs from the gulf states and Saudi are not only rude but are deluded about their superiority ; I really hope that Iran turns into a democracy ... Then that will influence pakistan ... Glad pakistan refused to help Saudi bomb Yemen .
      Pakistan should be friends with Iran , India, Turkey
      But some Iranians should also realise that Early islamic Iran was liberal it influence was felt from Central Asia , Afghanistan to India ... Farsi was the court language in these countries , u have the most beautiful mosques in isphan ...... The islam then and the way it is practise now in Iran are two very diff religions . But I do believe religion and state should be separate .... Anyway it's always gd to celebrate ur history regardless what it was / is.
      My celebration of the history of what is now pakistan does not start from when islam came to it's land ....,. But also Hinduism, Buddhism etc
      Anyway I'm a Quranic / sufi Muslim , I reject Hadiths ..... I'm also glad pakistan stated that it would back Iran if ever it was attacked .... That is amazing as Saudis not happy with that statement
