How did the police come to the conclusion (so quickly) that the other four were innocent?
An 80 year old Indian man walking his dog, murdered by a 14 year old? The old gentleman was an asset to society. He has done a lot more for the community and the economy than the people committing crimes against too many people with a darker complexion.
We should clean our own house before pretending to clean someone else's! 😫

Generally police separates them and listens to their stories. If they match with facts, evidences and other's testimonies, they are generally regarded true unless contradictory. So I think in this case, those 4 have the same story that only one was responsible for attack and they were bystander. If they took part in verbal abuse only and not in physical abuse, police does not have a sufficient cause to detain minors. It is just sad. Some of today's children are more mature than of the past but still they deserve benefit of minority.

You have a large group of people who voice hatred towards people of other cultures and races, and the kids hear it. When adults spout hatred and intolerance, their kids think that is acceptable, and the next generation carries it on. And here we are.

I’ve been on this earth 35 years and I still can’t for the life of me fathom how some people can be so cruel and so lacking in empathy as to do some of the awful things we see happening in this world. From the minute I was born I’ve wanted nothing but to love everyone, to be kind, to help make the world a better place. I’ve been through terrible stuff as many of us have. It’s not made me any less empathetic, in fact if anything it’s made me more empathetic. So why then? Why are there people like this in the world? I just don’t get it. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to understand this kind of cruelty. It hurts my heart every time I turn on the news. This poor man didn’t deserve this fate, and it just devastates me to think of an elderly man’s last moments being so filled with terror. I hope he’s at peace and I hope in my lifetime I see something better from the world than the darkness too many seem to be filled with 💔💔💔
