Everyone knows perfectly well, that Karabakh is Azerbaijan. Just because the word "Karabakh" itself is an Azerbaijani word, and translates as "Black Garden". Occupying Armenians want to change this beautiful, historical name, and call Karabakh -Artsakh. It will never happen. Karabakh will never be Artsakh! And never was! people write songs about Karabakh, some people listen to these songs, but very few of them know the true history of Karabakh. Very few people know that even on the map it is mentioned as the territory of Azerbaijan. although the Armenians do not give up on Karabakh. we have been waiting for 30 years for a peaceful solution to the issue. And the result of this 30-year wait is zero. The Armenians still do not withdraw their troops from the territory of Azerbaijan, Karabakh. I will tell you more, they have been lying for 30 years and they were strengthening their positions in the occupied territories, preparing for war. It should be over, it would be good to solve this problem through negotiations, however, the 30-year-old fact is that no negotiations are understood by Armenians. They chose war. We lost 30 years, of their trust and finally they do nothing, they just sat on our heads. I am very sorry that war is solving the problem in the 21st century. It is not too late now, the Armenians can withdraw their troops from Karabakh and everything will end peacefully. Though they do worse than that, they try to involve others in this war. They also try to play the role of victim. Please split this circus and liberate Karabakh from the Armenian army until more people are killed in this war! I can write a lot more on this topic, but I will not bore you anymore, I will end with this. I wish you peace, thank you. 🇦🇿 #KarabakhIsAzerbaycan 🇦🇿

@@mist9798 it's funny you say something like this, in fact centuries ago there was no armenia. It's stupid to make absurd claims if you don't have any information about the history of the region. Karabakh is and always been a part of Azerbaijan, recognized by the UN and 194 countries from all over the world. My best advice for you would be educate yourself before making any comment on this conflict. Start with researching the Karabakh khanate, the armenian migration to south caucasus and the Gulistan treaty. Fyi, by this treaty russia started to rule Karabakh, but there's no armenia nor any armenian mentioned in it. If Karabakh was theirs and they were the majority like you claim then why they weren't mentioned? As for the migration part the best source I can recommend you is the russian archives, specially Nikolai Shavrovs' writings. Check these and maybe then you can answer my question. Will be waiting
'Karabach' means 'black garden' in Turkic. 'Nagorny' means 'highland' or 'mountain'. These are the literal definitions. The region in the Caucasus' has seen ongoing, bloody conflict for the last 20 years.
Klasse! Ich liebe das. Wer von uns kennt diese Gegend wirklich? Ein weiteres Beispiel für Nationalismus. Aber nicht vergessen, man hört musikalisch im positive Sinne die alten Klassiker klar heraus. Seeland, Stella Maris...
This is the first song I've listened from Alles Wieder Offen (one of my favorite albums like Kollaps, Tabula Rasa and Ende Neu), and perhaps I replay it every moment, still loving it... Thanks EN for this piece of art and more of 30 years of exist... (Well, when Tabula Rasa was released I was a baby, but that doesn't matter because 18 years later I'm lucky of appreciate this kind of art)
Yeah... Kollaps was what, an '81 release? Or maybe a bit later ... still, even it was '85 I still didn't have any pubes. Got into it in my teens, having heard many people speak highly of EN, so when I had a bit of cash I went and got Ende Neu. Enamoured, I went right back and got Kollaps. It wasn't really what I expected. Lucky me, still a teenager, I was very open to all sorts of stuff. And these days, I'm about 50% happy and 50% disappointed I didn't get caught up in the mainstream back then. On one hand, I'd have been yet another guy at a party, miraculously finding a guitar (I swear, there was no guitar in my home before the party guests arrived!) and start playing "Wonderwall" - on the other hand, I'd have fit better in socially, and then might have had some happier teenage years.
It's interesting to see people argue about actual place here, while it is quite evident that for Blixa it's just an obscure enclave with a weird name. He may have heard about the politics around it, but this song has nothing to do with it and everything to do with lonelinness and alienation of a man. A very accessible, easy to understand song. And here come all these people thinking that they are clever and arguing about "their" mountains... OMFG, haha... He sings about *his* mountain, not about *yours*.
"Two large black ravens devour the plums in the tree", there are politics in that line. And it stands, not against the azeri or armenian people, but against the azeri and armenian elites, whose interests sustain the conflict. That's how war works, as you can see in every single conflict, poor men fight, rich men gain.
i don't think you are getting it. of course it involves the conflict, they have a song called "Armenia" in halber mensch, but i think that the vague poetry here talks about the pain of People in general about the war. the thing is it can involve other wars/countries, not Just the karabaj matter. by the way music flows in this teriffic song you can get it is not a "personal issue" specially being (at the time) a conflict área. well, apart from that he actually repeats "enclave" several times so....

In der ich mich verlier
In Nagorny Karabach
Ich steig den Berg herunter
Geh ins eine oder andere Tal
Es ist geflaggt in allen Farben
In Bergisch-Karabach
Zwei große schwarze Raben
Fressen Pflaumen aus dem Baum
Ob die andre Stadt mich lieb hat?
In der Enklave meiner Wahl
In der ich mich verberg
In Nagorny Karabach
Komm mich mal besuchen
Ich hab unendlich Zeit
Und der Blick der ist vom Feinsten
Über Wolken und die Stadt
In Nagorny Karabach
Nagorny Karabach
Nagorny Karabach
I should definitely make a video in Karabakh to this magnificent song. #NKpeace
I have seen your name before, are you by any chance a թվիթերահայ??

I wish all Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh all the best in surviving the disgusting genocide of Azerbaijan. It's a shame nobody is helping you because Azerbaijan supplies Europe with Russian gas.

Ihr seid grandios!
This video and the song clearly demonstrate how time change our life. Even the Neubauten discover harmonious melodies, a very nice song.

on a more flexible and sweeter form today. Marketing variability for example)
@@kre_dopeprod.3766 That may be true of some bands and their music. But if I look at the totalitarian states today, I tend not to confirm your statement 😉
Wonderful metaphor, perfectly combined with sound. Profound poetry, about people that are choosing "their ways", at the same time condemned to live in their shell :-(
So beautiful! Blixas voice is amazing, kind of hypnotizing....
This is a musical masterpiece!
I just love Nick Cave, but I think he was the one who was honored by Blixa's presence in The Bad Seeds.
They both are geniuses by their own right.
Insight and beauty
And Kid Congo, Hugo Race.
Mmm. Where they sing duets, that's just ... grand.
Indeed. Love them both.

@@gamerchannel1779 Karabakh is Armenian and has been for centuries. Armenians are still the vast majority of people living there
@@mist9798 yeah, after the ethnic cleansing of azerbaijanis.

GREAT JOB!!!
Was ein Hammer lege da immer meine Seele rein.
'Karabach' means 'black garden' in Turkic. 'Nagorny' means 'highland' or 'mountain'. These are the literal definitions.
The region in the Caucasus' has seen ongoing, bloody conflict for the last 20 years.

I met Blixa last year in Athens. Very cool guy...
Klasse! Ich liebe das.

Wie viele Menschen sin so einsam , wie wir uns hier Karabach vorstellen .

Mein geliebter Blixa,
Du bist mir und uns herzlich willkommen!
Amazing song! Hello from Serbia!
Unostentatious sadness, pure beuty. Touching deep in my heart.
PERFECTION....
A profound and beautiful song! It can only be accomplished by a rare breed of human beings!
Gerade wieder so aktuell.
In Gedanken und Gedenken bei den Menschen in Karabach!
You may be right, yes. And the poor men are fighting even here, in the comments. How sad...
Lao Blum I agree, that's sad. I hope they get to know who their real enemy is, "I wonder if the other town cares about me"
read the cosacos of Leon Tolstoi to see their past landscape...
i don't think you are getting it. of course it involves the conflict, they have a song called "Armenia" in halber mensch, but i think that the vague poetry here talks about the pain of People in general about the war. the thing is it can involve other wars/countries, not Just the karabaj matter. by the way music flows in this teriffic song you can get it is not a "personal issue" specially being (at the time) a conflict área.
well, apart from that he actually repeats "enclave" several times so....
Ein Song fuer die Vergessenen 😢
They have outdone themselves with this one. It's a masterpiece.
WoW! You guys made my day! God bless!
