    Today I've got a new (to me) hair tool...I recently received the Beachwaver S1.25 Rotating Curling Iron so I figured I would do a little tutorial and review to see if it is worth it. I know a lot of you have said that you have a hard time curling your hair, and I think this curling iron might make it a little easier. The Beachwaver is a rotating curling iron that makes the process of curling your hair super simple and foolproof. I also love that it is wrapped in this really girly floral print, so if you are into girly things then definitely snap up this new edition of their S1.25 curling iron, or one of the smaller sizes if you have shorter hair or want tighter curls. The Beachwaver S1.25 is perfect for creating big, bouncy waves!

    Tell us how long they last darlin, great video though! Seems the main complaint is the curls don't last?

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine lasts for days! But this is really not to do with the curling iron itself at all. Any curling iron I use, my hair lasts for days but that’s due to the texture of my hair, which is very coarse. Those who have fine hair will find that it’s hard to keep a curl, also, regardless of the curling iron they use. in that case, I definitely recommend spritzing each section lightly with hair spray right before you curl it, and then finishing with hair spray. This should help fine hair stay a little longer

    This tool looks pretty cool and it worked on your hair beautifully!! 💖
    I have a Conair tool that I like to use. Idk the name but it sucks in a piece of hair and curls it, they last quite awhile in my hair! My hair has completely changed over the last few years, its still fine but it will hold a curl now. When I was little my mom would have perms put in my hair and they literally would fall out the next day! So nothing would work for over 30 years and now I wake up and have curls, idk why but I'll take it for sure! Sorry for the long post 😆

    Can you just press the clamp to remove it from your hair vs unwinding it? What cute nails are you wearing? Your hair turned out great!

    I bought the Wylera curler and it’s awful to use in thick long hair and usually goes flat (it’s wireless) before I finish my hair so I have to rush (which never helps with a good end product). It also makes the hair way too curly like ringlets. I really like what this one does and think I might buy it! ❤

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Another way to avoid the ringlet look is to just always leave at least an inch of your ends out and then when you’re done, shake out the curls a bit with your fingers, makes it look more undone that way

    Do you have any tips for someone who’s curls fall too fast after curling? I also have the beachwaver and love it but my curls can never stay 😢

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wish I did, but my hair is pretty coarse, so it naturally holds a curl well....have you tried spritzing a little hair spray on your hair section right before you curl it? I have heard that can help with longevity if your hair tends to fall out faster!

  • @mileymama1
    @mileymama1 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Just release the clamp, you dont need to "unwind" it

    How much hair can you put in? My hair is long and volumnous and often i get frustrated half way through with how long it takes and want to stick more hair in but then it doesnt work and i have to redo it often.

      I would say half inch sections? I get it I have a lot of hair too…I’ve just learned to accept that it takes a long time to curl my hair 😩

    How many seconds do you hold
    It ? Like ten seconds ?

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah about 10 seconds! Honestly same amount you’d hold for any other curling iron, I tend to hold mine a little longer just bc my hair is coarse and that’s what tends to work better for me in terms of staying power

      It does go up to 410 but for whatever reason the outlet I had it plugged into during this video was weird maybe? Bc I’ve used it since and it was able to go all the way up 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Once you set the temperature and you want to raise or lower it, press the on/off button once, it beeps and you change it from there.

    I bought this and find it not user friendly. Maybe if a person yanks their hair out several times and finally can get used to it then it'll work.
    Dangerous to use at first. I felt as if I could get hurt. I'm not sure if a regular curler would be any more difficult than this.

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess it just depends? I used it just fine the first time without yanking out any hair, but then again, I’ve used a lot of different style curlers. Like anything else, it just takes getting used to there is a bit of a learning curve to it, but if you feel like you can’t safely use it then it probably isn’t the product for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

      @@MissMooreStyle do the curls last?

    • @MissMooreStyle
      @MissMooreStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@girlygrl186 they do, but I believe that has less to do with the hair tool itself, and more to do with my hair texture, which is coarse. I find that with any hair curler/wand I have ever used, my hair has staying power for that reason. I hope that helps!
