Wanted to say, it worked a treat! My saw blade was wobbly, even though I had tightened it using the spacers provided with a new saw blade. Your method helped alleviate the problem I was experiencing. Thanks.
Many thanks for this video. I've got an Evolution saw and it came with a 40T blade, just fitted an 80T blade and amazed at how hard it was to get that blasted ring to fit. Ended up sitting it on top of my dryer (in the garage) and tapping it into place with my chisel mallet.

What about now getting it off? ( Is it going to be easy or is it now too tight to remove )
