All of The Midnight videos, official and fan-made, always hit me. Born in 72 and a teen in the 80's, those were the best days of my life. I get butterflies and tear up when I look at these videos. It's incredible how some of the young kids today enjoy music and movies from back then.

And based on the list of inspiring songs I've heard from The Midnight, he should have gain more popularity than the ban "Fun" had in their active years. There's real artists with real talent for real music in the synthwave multiverse, I'm glad they don't give up on making us rewind new memories...
Absolutely perfect, 'warm fuzzy feeling' activated, Karate Kid has a special place in my heart and the tune is so nice and chill, this video healed my soul up some and took some tension out my shoulders. Thank you for a sweet reaction video, made my day. ☺
This song always makes me smile. My best friend had a mental breakdown 6 years ago and was in and out of the psych ward. Me and some other friends had almost lost all hope of having him return to his normal self but then 2 years ago he managed to get himself together and stop smoking weed which was causing him to have manic episodes. Since then he managed to finish his masters degree and land a solid job. He is the definition of a comeback kid.
I problably touched synthwave for the first time through non-vocal compilations, searching for something similar to original 80's songs. This was the first song that appeared in my recommendations after a while. It made me to finally watch Karate Kid, then find artists like NINA, Michael Oakley, Ollie Wride, etc. Found out about At 1980 from your video too. But Comeback Kid will always have a special place in my heart as a exploration catalyst of this, now my favourite, genre.
