I often find star notes and save everyone I find. I have them in all denominations and just got another $100 bill today. It's fun to find them and I have a star note savings going on.
I have a $100 star note I want to sell
I manage a Boost Mobile retail store and have an agreement between my district manager & myself since he knows I love collecting coins & bills that whenever I get change from the bank(coins & bills) I can search through & if I find a star note I can take the star note but I must have the $1 bills on me to replace them with so basically I’m trading a bill for a bill. Also I rarely close the store down bc being the manager I’m normally always the opener but on the rare nights I will close when 1 of my employees needed to trade a shift or whatever the case may be. I also search through the closing bills and again if I find 1 I trade a dollar for a dollar. Lately I’ve been on a lucky streak for star notes. I’ve found 9 so far this year, not quite 1 a day but not far off either. Sadly these are “beginner level” star notes that anyone who is new to currency collecting would love to have as they start their new found hobby. All 9 have been either 2017 or 2017 A & have all been 2 million or more printed.

I gotten a couple start notes my 9year old son wanted to start collecting cool and different coins and money so i stared looking at all the money and coins for him and found alot of AWESOME one's.. I gotten a couple 100 star notes and 20s still looking for 5s 10s.. It's so fun looking through them with him.

If you ask your bank for uncirculated bills.... would they only be the newest Bill's available? Or would they have uncirculated Bill's from 2013, 2017 etc.... T.I.A.

Finding new Straps of Notes is not easy. Over about 3 yrs I have gotten a $100 Strap and $50 in $1 Notes. I have lots and lots of $1 Star note plus a few $5's, 10's and 20 Notes. I also have a few $2 Notes and a couple Red Seal $5 Notes. Just hanging onto them for now. I have looked through probably $20,000 in $1 Notes searching for a Web Note. Hasn't happened...yet. I keep searching!

It should be in the $175 - $200 range and it is most likely steel and looks like silver because of its shiny condition. Cover it with plastic and place a magnet on it to confirm that it is steel. If it is not magnetic and truly silver, then you may have a rare valuable mint error.

Only star knows if you pull them out when you get them from circulation Stone circulated but when you sell them they say there's no do not because they've been used

I got 100 sequential star notes uncirculated, I have 10 left. Sold 90 of them for 75 bucks each.
1 dollar bills
The fr1917-f* was printed by mistake by the BEP. There were 640k web stars printed and some were released into circulation. When the BEP realized that the web star was printed by mistake they destroyed the remaining notes in inventory.
That's awesome! Where did you find that information about 1917-f* being printed by mistake?
There is a price guide book by the kvederas and inside there is a letter from the BEP for information requested on the web star and the BEP denies that any were ever printed. It's a great book on web notes and available for very cheap on ebay.

No unfortunately, just the $1 bill have Web notes. But for star notes, yes! Stars are generally worth a little more money

I have several star notes but not many from the Era you discussed. Are any star note from 90's and early 2000's do they carry any value as a web or non web note? I collected star notes just out of my change and paychecks for years had about 800 bucks worth, twenties tens ones and a couple of hundreds decided to call up see if any shops were interested. None were,and the best response I got was being cut off in the middle of my explanation of what I had and he said "man I don't want that shit" and laughed at me. At least I got to put the 800 back in my wallet lol

Very rarely will a bank have brand new $1 notes. These are the most common brought in bills and rarely will we order more from the fed. I work at a bank and I put aside all star notes I come across.
