Is there a way to turn on point notes? Normally, when I do any kind of layout/topo or topo as build IUs name, northing, Easting and elevation in notes when I export my files, but I’m being told that in AutoCAD, there isn’t a way to have notes displayed, but it will display codes so I’m trying to see if there’s a way we can turn on Notes so I don’t have to collect my information under codes Because in the Topcon magnet field software the code is another tool for organization just like the layer system, and the note is what the description of the layout or as built would be like say I create a layer for drainage as built, and I want to label it as storm so I would select the layer to be drainage as built the code to be storm, indicating that it was a storm as built, and then my note it would be where I shot the storm structure whether it was top of great, or if it was the invert for the corner of the box, etc.
I need to bring a leader to my AutoCAD Autodesk 2022 drawing that would display lat/long coordinates every time I move it to another location. Do you know how? Thanks!
Hi Brandon. Thanks for the video. I would like help me with something. How can I put the coordinates from the openings, columns swalls, etc? I want it to show in the drawings when I printed. Thanks in advance
Hi Thanks for your good videos , 1 thing i cant seem to enable is the dialogue box / info that follows your cursor when entering measurements , eg a line , the dialogue that says 'enter first point' and it shows how long your line will be etc . Thanks if you can help Tim
I am unable to see coordinates that are shown alongside the pointer. I was able to see the coordinates as I would move the pointer earlier. But today I opened the application and coordinates are not there with pointer can you help me to resolve this?
Hey guys, if I have multiple pints/circles in a drawings, what easiest way to get like a table of all points with coordinates without having to click on each point and manually write down each point (x,y) coordinates?
Sir, when you click, 2 little boxes appear where you can fill in some coordinates. I used to have that too, but now it's gone. Any Idea how I can turn that option back on?
@@jordanr9298 I copied and paste a reply from down below Hey N!ck, It sounds like you were using the Dynamic Input fields when drawing objects/lines etc.. You can turn that mode back on by typing DYNMODE in the command line and hitting enter, then entering 1 and hitting enter to turn it on. It's also got a button/icon along the bottom status bar, it looks like a small crosshair with a text/dialog box next to it. Hope that helps! Cheers, Brandon
Hey I'm trying to figure something out and I can't and it's driving me crazy. In model space and in properties my coordinates are showing up with really different coordinates than what are actually there, if I got to paper space and click model the coordinates are correct. Don't have a clue what's going on, also if I draw a line by N.E. coordinates and hover over it or look in properties it's completely different but if I go to paper space and click model it's correct.
Usually on my cursor i had the option to write the coords and just hit enter, but now i have to write them down in console using @. How do i fix this? It's annyoing.
