15:15 izzy was about to say that PvF should make them do the buldak challenge and then stopped in the middle because she realised she doesn't actually want to do it 😂
I do have to laugh that you have a Japanese company Potato Chips in a Korean Snacks vid. Calbee is a Tokyo based company...and they have a ton of different flavors I have nearly every flavor of Buldak noodles on my Ramen/Ramyeon shelves
Honey butter chip recipe was made by a korean who used Calbee (japanese company) to produce it. Honey butter chips themselves are korean in nature and by popularization
For those confused about the Japanese packaging for Honey Butter chips, honey butter chip recipe was created by a Korean who went to Calbee (Japanese company) to produce it. It’s a famous korean snack.
@@lingling3334nahhh, they don't look similar at all. Not being able to tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese is acceptable but korean characters are soooo different from Japanese characters
@@minami-ns7xi honey, I didn’t say they were similar. I agree with you, if you were to show me Korean writing and Japanese writing, I’d see the difference immediately, like most people would. What I was trying to say is, most people don’t need to know, so they don’t immediately realize which Asian it is. Trust me, if you are Korean or Japanese then you wouldn’t understand what I’m trying to say.
Ok, gonna be *that* person, but... Lotte is a Japanese company founded by a Korean guy and the Koala Yummies that Jayse mentioned is also from Lotte called "koara no maachi" (March of the Koalas). Also, like others have mentioned, Calbee is Japanese, too. And the lettering on the honey butter bag is 100% Japanese (technically, it says 'happy butter') 😆 Not trying to hate, Nestle is a Swiss company that has a huge presence in the US (and elsewhere) and it's not some weird or unnatural thing that a snack company has a multinational presence.
For those who don't know, Calbee and Haitai worked together to create Honey Butter Chip. Each has their own designed packaging but their contents are the same. It would've been nice to mention this in the video. Also, Lotte is legally a Korean company although it's controlled by its Japanese counterpart(Lotte Japan) and it's quite controversial topic in Korea.
I get the Tteokbokki cups from an Asian snack market website 😋 as well as a ton of other amazing Korean snacks. I love trying foods from other countries, it's a great way to introduce cultural diversity to your family, and everyone is happy trying tasty snacks! 🤩
I want to say thank you! This episode inspired me to order one of every food you tried so I can have my own episode of trying Korean snacks at home!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
It’s a Japanese brand but there is a different packaging honey butter chip that is made by Calbee that is made in Korea. I guess they just used this for convenience.
Turtle chips are soooo good. I'm not surprised they got a perfect score. The texture on them is amazing!!! I also love the banana milk but tbh, Korean pear juice is where it's at for me 😂 Also, I remember exactly when the honey butter chips went viral! It was when Mystic Messenger went viral as a visual novel too. They were 707's fave chips.
The US used to have a honey butter "chip"... if you want to call it that. Pringles used to make honey butter stix. I used to buy like 10 boxes at a time... they were soooo good.
As a Korean, I always thank people for being interested in Korean things. Actually, I've tired 3 of them, Pepero, Turtle chips, and the last one Yakgwa. Turtle chips is also my best.
they've even got metal chopticks. Metal chopsticks are used in Korea while, if I remember correctly, wooden chopsticks are used in Japan. And before anyone comes at me, I'm aware there's more asian countries than that, most of my knowledge is on Korea and Japan bc I love K-pop and anime, so I've researched the culture of Korea and Japan because of that.
I agree those turtle chips are crazy addictive. I buy a lot of my Japanese snacks at five below, grocery outlet, and 99 ranch market. I literally eat Japanese foods more then American foods cause it just taste better. The churro chocolate turtle chips I got at five below blew my mind. It tasted like chocolate churro cereal but it does not taste so artificial like chocolate cereals we have here.
We got cheese flavoured Turtle Chips when we were in South Korea. They are my absolute favourite. I haven't been able to find them since we came back. Everything on the list is delicious.
Whoever works for people vs food need to do proper research and proper fact checking the honey butter chips that went viral in korea and sold out everywhere was haitai a korean confectionery and food company not calbee calbee is japanese not korean.
Noah and Dani, and Paulina and Angel lol!! That was super adorable! Another wonderful episode! The cast and Nicole announcing REALLY makes this show fantastic! Keep up the amazing work, Everyone!

my thoughts exactly, looked at the thumbnail first and thought it was a japanese snack video again.
I was going to mention that too! You can clearly see the Japanese text on the bag!! Wtf?!?! 🤣😭
Honey butter chip recipe was made by a korean who used Calbee (japanese company) to produce it. Honey butter chips themselves are korean in nature and by popularization
butter chips are gross, as a Korean this is my opinion. That being said it was created by a korean person but Calbee is a japanese company
For those confused about the Japanese packaging for Honey Butter chips, honey butter chip recipe was created by a Korean who went to Calbee (Japanese company) to produce it. It’s a famous korean snack.
I was already confused when they where hugged up 😂
NOT THE SKIT OF TZUYU AND JEONGYEON EATING PEPERO 😭 2:11
I love Izzy's hair in this episode.
TWICE JEONGYEON AND TZUYU😭😭😭
NOT THEM USING THAT TWICE SKIT FOR THE PEPERO ONE AAAAAA
You guys brought Japanese Honey butter chip. Those are japanese brand.
''korean''? Calbee is Japanese company n the bag of the chips is literally written in Japanese😅
As a Korean, I agree
No offense. No one can tell the difference between something written in Korean and Japanese unless they are Korean or Japanese.
I think they included it cause it's also a chip that a lot of koreans like?

But Calbee is a Japanese chip company.
You could’ve gotten the Korean bag of honey butter chips instead of the Japanese one - that was the viral version 😅
YES THIS
TZUYU & JEONGYEON MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️
The honey butter chips were from Japan. Wondering if they just couldn't find any from Korea in the local marts?
13:08 chip is not the correct chip bag that is clearly Japanese not Korean. Honey Butter chip from haitai is Korean. You guys should research better
Im such a huge fan of Izzy! You rock girl
“This is the best instant spicy ramen I’ve ever had” (while looking like he’s in literal pain) poor Noah
Calbee is Japanese brand though? I mean, you can read the hiraganas written on the packaging.
pretty sure Calbee is Japanese? also, I prefer Calbee BBQ flavour that are made in Hong Kong, they are the best for me!
2:11 Jeongyeon and Tzuyu from TWICE! ❤
I thought I recognized them! 😅
Them showing Tzuyu and Jeongyeon classic peppero scene sent me lmho
Omg Jeongyeon and Tzuyu
That calbee is Japanese snack tho🤣
But it’s distributed in Korea and America through PepsiCo. Via Frito-lays… and as they mentioned in the video it was a viral craze in Korea.

Why is Calbee chips is in Korean food? Isn’t it from Japanese food company??
original honey butter chips are from a Korean mart but they showed the Japanese version on here for some reason
