@JOHN ROMEL i agree w you but i don't understand why most of the luxury cars like mercs and also off roaders and true SUVs use diesel instead of petrol if its faster.. and why do they say diesel performance is better on highways when clearly petrols can smoke them?
@@harshith3022 it's mostly because in off road conditions torque is more important. Also diesel engines are usually more reliable when they are forced to work under water/mud for a while. When it comes to highways - they tend to have much lower rpms, which in such conditions makes them burn less fuel. I used some simplifications in my answer but you get the idea

The 2 polos has a different charm. You have the torquey diesel and then you have the high hp petrol. So its up to you whether you want more torque or hp. Keep in mind both the engines has a different charm

I’d suggest you to go for TDI because more power and efficient aswell, but if you don’t care about efficiency and if you want Automatic transmission you can go with TSI

@@me-td8km tdi has been discontinued if u prefer manual diesel go for altroz or i20 . if u want drivers car with no rear passenger space go for new polo tsi which you tune later

@@zeusprp cuz...automatic is comfortable...and it's the future....and I don't know about you...but enthusiast do buy manual..cuz it can rev high and hold revs too......even formula one doesn't have AT.
But in city or cut to cut single lane roads, there Tsi won't perform as good and fast as the TDI would. Because of the torque, it will leave tsi little far but not that far. And when on the straight roads of four or 6 lanes, the tsi would make magic and not that good amount of magic that can ran away from the TDI also it would stay right there on Orv's 😏
