This is one of my favorite most informative videos in MLB The Show history! Youve helped me from winning maybe 4-5 games a run to 8-9 most times. And i went 40-20 in the Moonshot Event to get Rewind reward Ian Happ

You are so good at this game! This is my first baseball video game I've played since MLB 2K7 and I'm freakin' horrible at it. I guess it is mostly a matter of inexperience, but I've felt like giving up just because of the skill gap from the sheer amount of time I was away from any baseball games. Love your videos, though. You are a scientist.

Do you have a video on how to do minor movements on pci?
If I don’t hold the stick claw
    I jam a lot :/
I been trying to just jam the pci all the way at the bottom and going up , it’s been ok but I’m like a 800 player so I want to get better at just the small movements

I can't get the claw down it just feels too awkward and lots of time I adjust in the wrong direction
But yea I jam every pitch too far vertically and horizontally

Dude, don't play from the bottom up, it's unnatural. I know alot of people play this way, and they're good, but they play this way because they started playing this game with bad habits. They couldn't recognize, nor hit the low ball, so they started playing bottom up because they were struggling. You can absolutely learn to play like this and get good at it, but I feel like a more natural approach will make you a better hitter quicker. You should start your PCI from the top corner. You want the PCI behind the back of the pitcher. Doesn't matter which side of the plate you're hitting from. This gives a more natural move to the inside pitch which is more reactionary. Look out over the plate, react to inside.....When the pitcher starts his windup , slowly move the PCI to the pitchers release point. This will give you something to start the timing of your swing. Kind of like a load shift. Once the pitcher let's the ball go, you have everything right there that you need to read the pitch, track and hit (or take). Your focus is on one spot. And it's much more natural to follow the ball from there. You will learn the precise movement that you're wanting to learn quicker by doing this. Because your PCI is on the ball at the beginning and you're not moving across the strike zone trying to catch it. I don't even use the center dots on my PCI on legend so I can see the ball better and remove that distraction. I only use the inner and track the ball to the center of that. Can't do it on the other difficulties because the area is too big m, but on legend it works well. The biggest thing is to not get frustrated. This game is hard and it's take lots and lots of practice to get better. At times you may think you're not making any progress, but you are. You just have to keep going. Everyone that can play this game at a high level has had and STILL has these struggles from time to time. I don't care what they say. It's baseball.
