David Wright, Lee Smith and Jackie Robinson are my guesses for the first 3 bosses. Not sure what the last 2 will be but Hank sounds like it's highly potential
I can agree with you on that. But it is fun and good to see new legends and different players to use in game… I think going forward, if SDS keeps up with adding new legends in the game, I think this game can be more appealing and fun!
barry zito, magglio ordonez, pablo sandoval, eric chavez, strasburg, ubaldo jimenez, tim lincecum, barry bonds (Lol) Hanley Ramirez, placido polanco, yadi, brandon phillips, jeff kent, carlos gonzalez, bobby abreu, josh hamilton, miguel tejada, tim wakefield, josh beckham, kirby puckett, ted williams…
Clemens and Koufax without question, and it’s more like 8 legends or 2 legendary legends. No way that’s just a 2v8 thing. Those 2 carry way more weight each than any of those others.
Absolutely the 2 pitchers. The way I look at it as a phillies fan is it cool to play with richie ashburn? Sure do i like playing with him? No it sucks cause he has 50 power. If the legends cards are blah it makes it boring after a few games. And as a 26 year old i actually want to play with guys like brad lidge shane victorino cole hamels etc who I grew up with and watched win a world series not players my dad grew up with that suck in game
Sandy and Clemons. They will always drop more cards and other names we haven't seen. If those guys are that cheap they will be cheap again in the future.
This is going to sound crazy but, the cards that ppl are hyped for are the same players we had for years. We definitely need an influx of players. Mainly from the early 2000s
I feel like instead of just getting rid of cards in a way that piss off fanbases, they could instead get rid of them and then replace them with another player missing from the game from that team.
So curious your thoughts on as well as legend players maybe an international mixed pool of players like mlb 23 WBC cards. It seemed like s1 of mlb 23 was basically WBC cards and then poof no more. I miss Roki and Murikami bad. Adding international players again would be fun. Thoughts????
I think clemens is a much different case than koufax, Clemens played on a ton of different teams and would probably have a 99 on most of those teams, but koufax only player for about 10 years on one team, granted he was the best pitcher on earth in those ten years, I just think Clemens would be a much better add than Koufax
Definitely option 2 for me. Koufax and Clemens would be amazing but an extra 10 pitching legends that includes Tiant? Gimme, gimme, gimme! Just a quick question for consideration - “given the fact that this year’s game has been poorly received and many people in the community stopped playing weeks ago, do you think SDS has suffered a hit to their revenue this year which could have significant long term implications for them and the game?” - sorry, long question!
Do we think that SDS will get rid of the seasons/sets and the xp cap next year? If they do this, they can bring the game back where it doesn't die before halfway through the game year.
I dont think Sosa and McGuire will be the bosses because they were together every time last year because it was their first year. I wish they changed Marks swing, Sosa is a good one. My calls are: Hank Aaron Rafael Palmerio (which might not be because hes not a Hall of Famer) Mickie Mantle( which is the most overrated card because his stats are amazing, but the swing is horrid) Craig Biggio (in case Palmeiro isnt)
For next weeks mailbag: People keep talking about how little legends there are in the game. How about upgrades to current players? As a Brewers fan William Contreras has been arguably the best catcher in baseball all year. Adames probably the 2nd best SS. Only has a high 80s card. There are six weeks left in the season. Zero cards since his LS for Contreras. Turang was on fire the first half of the year and 2nd in steals. Zero upgrades. Hell, Joey Ortiz is still listed in game as Joseph Ortiz. I can’t even represent my favorite players on my favorite team in DD because the only players that get good cards are prospects who haven’t even touched the bigs or recycled legends.
It’s not only the fact of have 10 new legends, it’s what SDS will be able to do with those . Are they going to put behind of a pay wall ?? Are they going to be free on a later/mid summer program ??
they need to make John Don or Randy the new Extreme rewards, so they aren't so overused it makes the game not fun, like in season 1 and most of last years game
1st- knowing that we not gettin new legends but repeats…. The 99 HOF cards we will prolly get , P- Nolan Ryan , IF- Mike Piazza (we got his core card ) OF - Mantle (he has a 91 headliners S1 card) also we will prolly get Roberto Clemente HOF card for his program 2nd - funny because when u first asked , the 2 vs 10 players, I honesty said they 2, but then once u explained the why behind the 10 , it’s makes total sense, and like u said , 10 > 2 anyday
Tbh F the big names go back to inning programs and get cards of legend that aren’t going to cost a lot like Eric Thames and give them just random cards like they don’t even have to be 99 and just spam programs involving them
And they desperately need to stop playing favorites with teams like the Yankees and Phillies and give other teams like the Dbacks and Rays more legends
Season 3 was a step back in some ways. I mean I guess it’s cool that they are offering 95s from the start, but it’ll be the same predictable TAs. It feels like we’ll likely be back to minimal content that’s slow drip fed to us where we should be getting some of the best content in the game. Less chapters in TA feels like a downgrade
8:04 i meeean, it's a fun hypothetical but entirely unrealistic. what is the basis for those 2 equaling the price of the other 10?? short of evidence that it is even close to a 1:1 comparison, i'm not sure what this does. yeah most of us would take 10 legends over 2
@@kdjTV611 right, everyone would, so it's kind of a self-serving example that doesn't really make a point unless we know that trading those 2 for 10 others could be achieved. i have limited knowledge on the rights front, but i know for this comparison in particular, it wouldn't come close to getting all 10 of those for Rocket & Sandy
@cliftonbennett6420 the point is that it's like actual baseball. Every game isn't an all star hall of fame game. Have a mode for that, but have a competitive mode with real depth.
David Wright, Lee Smith and Jackie Robinson are my guesses for the first 3 bosses. Not sure what the last 2 will be but Hank sounds like it's highly potential
Did sds realize we were going to fly past the 250 cards in set 2 and just abandon putting in bonus packs between that threshold and 400?
@@posthappystreams7188 they don't care haha
Do you think sds should do community polls to see what legends we would like in future mlb the shows?
Thanks for using my question caught me off guard hearing it in the video 😂

99 Mantle will be one of them, hopefully.
Surprised he came out first couple of weeks last year used him nearly all year
"They can go away forever'!
They did in 1997 & 2010 😁
barry zito, magglio ordonez, pablo sandoval, eric chavez, strasburg, ubaldo jimenez, tim lincecum, barry bonds (Lol) Hanley Ramirez, placido polanco, yadi, brandon phillips, jeff kent, carlos gonzalez, bobby abreu, josh hamilton, miguel tejada, tim wakefield, josh beckham, kirby puckett, ted williams…
Surprised we haven't seen the real Mickey Mantle last year think I used him to the end
Clemens and Koufax without question, and it’s more like 8 legends or 2 legendary legends. No way that’s just a 2v8 thing. Those 2 carry way more weight each than any of those others.
I'll take 10 pitchers all day.
@joshueseib7514 FR

Legends need to be balance. Teams need to have even amount
Taking the 10 pitchers
Sandy and Clemons. They will always drop more cards and other names we haven't seen. If those guys are that cheap they will be cheap again in the future.

We definitely need an influx of players. Mainly from the early 2000s
the two pitchers are a better option IMO
Yes has SDS just forgot about the main collection I’m at 330 cards? The last thing is a stupid icon, really?
I’m at like 383 collected too. I really hope we get free packs in that collection.
I don’t miss MLBTS. Have a great day.
Do you think we will get pitching captains again ? Like we did in the beginning ? I really need the twins pitching captain lol
I feel like instead of just getting rid of cards in a way that piss off fanbases, they could instead get rid of them and then replace them with another player missing from the game from that team.
I got a feeling were going to get a vlad sr card
So curious your thoughts on as well as legend players maybe an international mixed pool of players like mlb 23 WBC cards. It seemed like s1 of mlb 23 was basically WBC cards and then poof no more. I miss Roki and Murikami bad. Adding international players again would be fun. Thoughts????
Im taking the 2. Clemens and Koufax? Oh man. They would just make those ten generic pitchers and we'd wind up with 2 or 3 good ones anyways
I'm taking the 10. More variety, more theme teams, etc.
99 Mickey Mantle 100% is going to be coming in season 3
I’m taking the 10
I think we get Mantle and John Donaldson in the first xp path of S3 . That’s my guess
I think clemens is a much different case than koufax, Clemens played on a ton of different teams and would probably have a 99 on most of those teams, but koufax only player for about 10 years on one team, granted he was the best pitcher on earth in those ten years, I just think Clemens would be a much better add than Koufax

99 Ricky Henderson would be nice

I think I played you this wknd "Sat" in events not many people have the Power Rangers logo :) I won but it might of not been you.
If they keep Sets and Seasons for next game, do you think the 3 main boss or the collection rewarded boss be core?

@kdjTV61 i replied to this same post on your other video, wait, did I really win or did u get hacked??
99 john Don
99 Randy Johnson
99 pedro
99 Mussina
Batters
99 Mantle
99 Musial
99 Murray
99 ozzie smith
10 new legends all day and slip in Edison Volquez for good measurement bc I'm a disgusting Reds fan lol
Tbh F the big names go back to inning programs and get cards of legend that aren’t going to cost a lot like Eric Thames and give them just random cards like they don’t even have to be 99 and just spam programs involving them

I’d rather have 10 mid tier guys than 2 top tier guys. Idc what the names of those players are.
8:04 i meeean, it's a fun hypothetical but entirely unrealistic. what is the basis for those 2 equaling the price of the other 10?? short of evidence that it is even close to a 1:1 comparison, i'm not sure what this does. yeah most of us would take 10 legends over 2

Sorry but SDS screwed pooch we should have had 99 mantle already
As a Jew Koufax and Clemens by a mile
WHERE IS MILWAUKEE CC!
@kdjTV61 Right on!
Nobody uses a real theme team
Answer the question bro: what's the point of ratings if everything is a 99?
What’s the point of playing with cards not good is a better question? Why not wait till they start putting out good cards to play
@cliftonbennett6420 the point is that it's like actual baseball. Every game isn't an all star hall of fame game. Have a mode for that, but have a competitive mode with real depth.
@KdjTV11 I have no idea what that means
Lets say you weren’t a content creator… at any point in this game would have you given up and stop playing? p.s picture yourself as a casual player.
David Wright, Lee Smith and Jackie Robinson are my guesses for the first 3 bosses. Not sure what the last 2 will be but Hank sounds like it's highly potential
We just got those in 99 lol
