There was a funny back story of Look at Me Gwisun. During their rookie days, GD went to a reality show. If I am correctly remember, during the show, the casts interview random passing by ppl (or something like that). And GD asked a girl he met there who is her fav among BB or choose one BB member. He was pretty confident that she will choose him, but instead she chose Daesung. He was so shock and quite funny that he couldn't believe it. That girl name was Gwisun and later GD wrote the song and gifted to DS. The song was about basically asking Gwisun to Look at him (GD) closely , he's also handsome and to give him attention as well. Lol. And it was really impressive for him to write it because as you may notice, the genre of this song is quite different from other songs that he produced or any other kpop idol songs. It is actually "Trot" aka "Korea Folk music", which is enjoyed largely and so popular among korea older populations. Look At Me Gwisun became instantly Huge big hit among Korea general public (not only fans!) and trademark song of DS. Elders from whole nation love and recognize DS via this song. And GD is the first and one and only Kpop Idol who produced such "Trot" song and made it a huge hit. Sorry for long text, but can't help myself to tell you this adorable story and of course, GD's genius song writing skill. Btw, lyrics and MV are Japan version, so there are slight difference meaning from original korea version.

The head of YG and many of the trainers at YG were so impressed with GD's re-write of lyrics and performance of those lyrics for "This Love" that YG purchased the rights for GD to release the cover. I think watching the concert of this song was one of my first introductions to BigBang. It wasn’t this concert that you reacted to, they were much younger and GD was playing with the young girls in the audience, pausing the song and teasing them. It was so much fun to watch.

I always go back to check on T’s channel to see if there’s anything I want to watch and lo and behold BIGBANG!!!!! On Look At Me Guisson, like GD once told Taeyang coming to rescue him from bullies “what took you so long!” Did you know in the Mama performance of GD and Tae doing Good Boy, the camera goes to the crowd and you see a guy look back at the camera doing a double peace sign? That’s Tablo. He was always there supporting bb. You see him alot when GD is producing. So glad you like him. There’s a fun behind the scene at a bb concert where Dae tries so hard to get Tablo’s daughter Haru’s attention playing tricks with toy fish but he couldn’t win her over. Poor Dae. Tae, to be honest it took me a while to warm up to him mainly because I’m not into R&B type of music and it took him a few years to find his voice but now I truly love him and yes, his voice is very special. I love his personality, a solid man. Did you know he did a dance challenge with Hyunjin and Felix “Vibe” and one dance challenge with Hyunjin.

I always said that my first exposure to BB was Still Life (I know, backwards here), and it was TOPs rap that got me really interested and then he sang and I just nearly died. Then after watching the video a 3rd time, I was like, who is this dude now with the unique rap and singing voice and I think I'm looking him even more and that was GD. It wasn't until a few months into my reaction channel that I started to really pay attention to the other members. Tae was the next one and the others followed.
