I think watching the concert of this song was one of my first introductions to BigBang. It wasn’t this concert that you reacted to, they were much younger and GD was playing with the young girls in the audience, pausing the song and teasing them. It was so much fun to watch.

TD, here’s a tip for you for a group to react to in the future: XG. They are a global pop group of 7 Japanese girls who trained in the K-pop system but who sing in English. They trained for 5 years and debuted in 2022. They are in a world tour right now and will be in LA October 6. I’m not joking when I tell you that they crush it. Their debut song was called Tippy Toes. Their music style has changed quite a bit since and they also can dance like a professional dance crew. In fact since you like to react to live as well they always put out choreo fixed and choreo dance versions. Hope to see a reaction. 😊

Hi TD! How you doing? This is great to see you reacting to the very best 2NE1. Btw, it’s pronounced like the number 21. Their fans name are Blackjacks. Cuz 21. 😂 All 4 were very very popular when they were together. They were absolutely considered the in the top group during their 6 years. Yes, only 6 years. So sad. YG screwed them over and no one should ever forgive him. Bom and Dara are quite a bit older than CL and Minzy. At the time when they debuted Minzy was only 16 and held back quite a bit by YG. She never got to do a solo debut like the other members. Her talent is probably greater than the others. Not only her voice, but her dancing is off the charts. In fact she runs a dance studio. Dara was already mega famous in the Philippines and to this day she is still a superstar there. There’s an old documentary of Dara before her 2NE1 career and there are actual scary scenes of crowds that are seriously out of control around her.

Great video! keep this concept up ;) as someone who was around J-Pop since 2005 and K-Pop since like 2009, this is totally my jam :D Please react to more GG and BG from each generation in this format, just to get a better feel for each era! Late 2nd gen and early 3rd gen GG are my favorite. There was something special about that time in the industry. That said I do like this idea of reacting across history like this. It is interesting to experience kpop styles I probably wouldn't seek out on my own. I will be checking out Merry-go-round right away. What I find funny about FinKL is that the name is a bizarre, bordering on nonsensical, French-English portmanteau that people pronounce like a German word. FinKL = Fin K.L. = Fin Killing Love = End Killing Love = "Don't be a hater?" or "Love makes the world go round?" or "He's a really good guy and I love him! Jeez, Mom, you just don't understand?" (I really don't know). "Finkel" is probably a German occupational surname relating to someone who sells finches. I really wish General Dynamics would offer a "bedazzled" package for reactive tank armor.

11:25 2NE1 are known for pioneering the 'girl crush' concept, in contrast to the 'sexy' or 'cute' concepts, which is also something reflected in their sound. A lot of girl groups today are heavily influenced by 2NE1, so it totally makes sense what you are saying here
