I got a 96 legacy Brighton and tell you what, best car I've had yet. 260k miles on it. 5 speed but it does have a considerable amount of rust. Still rips though. Going through with fixing her up and modding her quite a bit. Great car!
I know this is almost 3 yrs old, but everyone knows you have to rotate the tires on a Subaru and they have to be wearing evenly or you'll burn up the AWD system. Each tire at each corner has a different tread depth, which meant it wasn't being done.
They can be a little off and it's fine, lol like they have to be exact haha. I have exact car and had to run different tire sizes on each corner and I ran those for a bout a year and it's years later and no issue with awd, differential. Not as sensative as you think if it was that easy to fuck up then awd cars would suck if tires wearing differently ruined awd vehicles and of course if you let the tires go so so long there's inches of difference then of course but I've ran tires tell there life ended without rotating and one or two ended up being slick before the others but still fine and wasn't gonna damage car.
Ryan wow that’s low mileage for the year! Mine has 160k and still runs good. I recently did the timing belt and water pump and I think it’ll be good for a while
@@juplay7861 yeah, I've heard they are pretty tough. You should read up on the 2.2 though. The one I have was bought intentionally, it now has 200k miles and the exhaust pipe is still clean, no soot. The people I meet with the same car have similar results. Yeah that makes me a 2.2 fanboy.

I just got the same. 55.000 miles, close to new. It is still possible. Great car.

96 and newer are junk
Why are they junk?
Second gen legacy ej22's are not junk
You're thinking about the 2.5. The 2.2 is bullet proof.
@@paulanger2048 2nd and 3rd gen are junk with the 2,5 Engine..
The 2,0 and 3,0 are bulletproof!
