His acting was on the same level as the top male dramatic actors in America. Watch My Mister. Then, in October of this year, he was accused of taking marijuana and fell victim to Korea's massively insane societal and political dysfunction. Too many holes in the safety net to point out here, but I'll try. It begins with a police dept. that leaked information, a media that recklessly spread that information and a Korean netizen community that lusts for blood at the hint of scandal. And once the public begins their judgmental screed, corporate sponsors, who have no spines, began withdrawing their support and cancelling contracts. All this despite the fact that toxicology reports came up with nothing. From October to December, the police interrogated him 3 times, the last time was days before Christmas for 19 hours. It broke him and on the 27th of December, he committed suicide, telling his wife in a note that he saw it as his only option. I am also a fan of Lee Je hoon especially after watching Where Stars Land. I haven't seen Taxi Driver yet but I'm sure he did an excellent job. They both deserve the grand prize.

The way Lee Je Hoon honour his fellow actor is truly amazing; how can the police trust a person with a bad track record a hostess who sell her time to pleasure her clients... ultimately the police will never acknowledge they did wrong to him in any ways until a commission is set-up.
