  • The Rhode Island Class Rocket is one named for its diminutive size. It stands at a meager 7.4 meters tall. The rocket is part of the Calais Space Program's initiative to deliver a cheaper, reliable, and flexible launch option to our customers who want to launch small payloads to Kerbin Orbit. It uses a Shrimp solid rocket booster for the first stage, and a spark engine with small fuel tank for the second stage.
The idea is to reduce cost. This rocket achieves this by using a Shrimp Solid Rocket Booster for a first stage, an efficient, but also cheap upper stage, and the miniaturization of the rocket overall. This is because for a much smaller price, I get a rocket which can perform similar actions to a larger, more expensive rocket.
**THE VESSEL IS NOT FULLY STOCK. LEAVE A COMMENT IF YOU WANT MY CURRENT MOD LIST**
    RHODE ISLAND CLASS STATISTICS:
    Default Configuration Cost: 3,714 funds.

    Default Configuration Mass: 1.756 tons
    Default Configuration Height: 7.4 meters
First Stage Thrust: 19.88 KiloNewtons (KN)

Apologies for the bad graphics. The only malfunction was during fairing separation, where one struggled to detach. The explosion during the second stage is normal, and was caused by the ignition of the payload's engine.
