      I know this is 5 years old.....
      Elbow grease is another saying as “Use your muscles” Specifically for arm & cleaning or something that involves moving your arms & shoulders.

    Sort of wish I bought the aluminium... But then I'd have a scratched up screen which is not so easy to polish.
    A brushed steel option would have hidden the scratches better but the mirror finish does look bloody good when it's polished.

    • @pokemoneplayer

    • @Pug1311
      @Pug1311 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Adrian Portilla I polish my Stainless Steel Apple Watch about once a week with the Cape Cod cloths to no ill effect. It would take 1000s of polishings to wear that watch case down.

    • @adrianportilla462
      @adrianportilla462 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Pug1311 Thank you!

    • @Pug1311
      @Pug1311 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. I do it at least once a week. It polishes off a microscopic layer of the stainless steel. These polishes have been used for years for fine metals. I do like the Cape Cod polishing clothes because you can control it better and keep it away from the crystal or openings If you should pass over the mic with it, it won't hurt it. I trim the cloths into small pieces because although the manufacturer says they can be revitalized with mineral oil, I like using a fresh piece very 4 or 5 times. I bought the round tin because it came with 12 cloths, gloves and an excellent microfiber cloth. Did you see the CNET video on it? If it weren't on CNET, I'd have less confidence.Try it once-you'll be very happy.

      MrHess9298 Yep ^ a lot of people complain but u would not have many scratches in the first place if you took care of what you bought. its funny when someone say o this product is bad cause it broke easy its cause they were rough with it when its a really high rated product. some people are just carless with what they buy

    • @pokemoneplayer
      @pokemoneplayer 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ***** Deep scratches, yes, but micro scratches can happen even if you take care of the Watch. I have one section of micro scratches that can only be seen at certain angles. I have no idea how they got there because I don't recall banging my Watch anywhere. But it happens. At least with the Watch these minor scratches can be buffed out

      With all the nanotech and whatnot, nothing is impossible nowadays, Apple is not some dude in a garage with a can of spray lacquer, they have a slew of materials and application methods to choose from, so I'm sure they could have achieved that polished stainless steel _look_, and made it scratch resistant.
      If they're cheap, they could have at least applied a scratch resistant case protection film, again, they have all kinds of application methods to apply it seamlessly.
      In all honesty, I have no idea how people scratch their watches so easily, it's a watch, you carry it on your wrist, you don't toss it in your bag or a pocket with other items, but apparently majority of people are slipshod and it's the problem.
