    Might need to come up with a treatment/preventative for the horse fungus too! Seems to be a highly destructive, fast acting threat to your succulents! 🤣🤣🤣

    A nuisance which I have in my area (Outside the USA) is black rot - While my Echeverias seem mostly resistant to pests, black rot (which I assume is a fungus) may hit at anytime. The Echeverias would grow well for few months without any problem. A black rot infestation may start either at the base (from the roots or anywhere on the base of the stem) as well as at the growth tip. In either case, the rot spreads very quickly and the plant may drop its leaves overnight. The rosette appears to "shatter" without notice and drop all of its leaves almost at once.

    Ah very informative! Just saw this morning one of my plant has white spot like watermark . I thought its from the rain. But apparently powdery mildew. Thanks to you!

      Sounds like it could be powdery mildew. Always good to get on to it quickly before it spreads to the rest of your collection.

      Your very welcome 🙂👍 there is another product that works well and that's Rose Shield. It does have a smell to it, so I wear a respirator just incase 🙂👍 the product also doesn't leave a residue like Mancozeb.

    Watching this after seeing a few black spots in my crassula rupertris. It was just okay yesterday and then this morning I noticed some black spots on the leaves. Thanks mik and family, and Harmony too!

      Your welcome. Yes Succulents aren't fans of humidity. Important to be careful with the amount of water you are giving them and also good ventilation helps 🙂👍

    Hi, I'm new to the succulent world and I'm wondering what ratio you recommend with making up the mancozeb for succulents? 2 level caps for 3 litres or water as per instructions, or dilute it even more by adding it to say 4 litres of water? Just don't want to harm my new succulents. I have a problem atm and it is spreading to others. 😥

    • @mickssucculents
      @mickssucculents  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cindy, thanks for following us :) You can use the recommended dosage, but it will make the residue way more noticeable on your plants. It will fade after awhile. We use a weaker dosage, 1 cap to 3 litres. I hope that helps :)
