thanks for this but how to i edit my current tags list or even create one?; i cant see the tag list on mine in the left hand nav menu. xxx

If you are using TickTick in a web browser, you can hover over the word list and a plus icon will show up, and from there you can add a new list item. Same is true for Tags as well. However, if the list is not there, you can go to Settings and then to Smart List and change the list from hide to show.
