my ex told me he thinks we had a similar relationship to them and now that I think of it... he’s kind of right. we met when we were kids, both grew up around drugs and alcohol abuse. we were so alike on so many levels, music wise, opinion wise. we talked until I turned 16 and he asked me out nov 12 2015, about 6 months in he had to leave to treatment like 20 hours away from me because he had a drug addiction. but it was good for him because he loved music and song writing and he had the chance to do that there and even get studio time in a studio worth over a million dollars and recorded some songs. he was away for 3 months but we stayed in touch the whole time and I was so excited for him to come back. when he came back he kind of relapsed and we dated until I was 20 until he broke up with me because he had some personal issues he needed to go through in his own. he was my first everything, kiss, boyfriend, love. we grew with each other. peep is both one of our favourite artists and im grateful to have someone to relate to so much. the lyrics feel like I could of wrote them or they were written for me. rip Gus

Yeah this video just made me fucking breakdown. I have to say that I can deeply empathize with Emma because I know what it's like to have a soulmate since back in school days and not be with them. Just different circumstances. Peep is gone and she'll never get that chance in this lifetime and the only man I've ever felt truly in love with left me for someone else and had a family with them and pretty much all the things he never gave me. And the "what could've beens" completely fucking destroy you as a person. It's been 10 years and I'm in my mid 30s now and I will always feel a sense of loss and to this day have never met anyone close to what ever I felt for him. Some shit you just can't heal from, but finding Peep's music a few weeks ago by complete chance / accident has filled some sort of much needed emotional void in my life that I only wish I knew sooner. Now it's become an amazing coping mechanism for me personally. Thank you so much for the talent and lyrics Peep. We miss you so much. ❤

But it doesn't matter, if Lil Peep just died like that the way he sings about in his music.
