Brett storming out of the dugout is such an iconic visual.
i quit watching baseball in last few years because its idiotic how they cling to the old, shitty ways of calling pitches, when a foolproof method to have it done with technology is widely available.
I've never seen these videos before, but I like it.
I will never understand why umpires are not held accountable
Lol today dibble would've had a 3 million dollar fine, suspended indefinitely, and sports shows would talk about it for a month
boy, when you have to be calmed down by Hanley Ramirez 😫😂😂😂
0:30 Those were good pitches though lol. Swing the bat.
3:04- They say you as a player can't touch the umpire, well in my humble opinion it works both ways.
You as an umpire cannot touch a player. If Papelbon wanted to sucker punch Joe West there, he would have had a legitimate beef why because he was physically provoked by West.
Missing the Chase Utley slide where he clearly intentionally slide into Tejada and broke his leg, and the umpires overturned the out call and made him safe. That was the biggest moment that made me lose faith in the sport for a while
It’s called hardball for a reason.. Either make the play, or dont.. I don’t care if your leg gets mangled..
@@jacobjones5269 Somebody got cut from his little league team...

Lol.. You guys make me laugh, you’re libertarian about everything, except sports… Where you turn to jello.. Smh.. That’s as backwards as it gets..
@@jacobjones5269 You're definitely the sort of dude to cry about athletes sticking to sports and you're trying to make this a political issue? I don't know who hurt you, but I hope things get better.
@@horm
I’m not trying to make anything political.. I believe in between the lines the game should be played without remorse.. Not wussified for the masses..
Same thing when QBs roll outside the pocket and ground the football.. I don’t think the NFL needs a loophole to the intentional grounding rule, so they can legally ground the ball.. I believe that if a QB doesn’t want to take a sack, or get his leg mangled, THEN HE SHOUOD HAND THE BALL TO A RUNNING BACK!.. THATS football..
And if you don’t want guys sliding late into 2nd base, then hit them in the forehead with the ball on the next relay to first.. They’ll stop sliding late, trust me.. That’s baseball..
Should’ve titled this video “mlbs greatest moments”
I find it hard to believe that in such a major sport that they can't find good umps these guys stay around way too long!!
Machado plays so filthy, I'm surprised this whole thing isn't just a supercut of his plays. He's an embarrassment to sportsmanship.
4:08 when the glove moves that little, 99.999% of the time they give it to you.
I remember that during the last few years of Skip Caray's life he pointed out that the umps were getting increasingly confrontational with the players instead of just moving the game forward and allowing the fine process to play out. Correct. Stop *provoking* the players. JFC
I often dream that one Day We'll get some new clips 🤣🤣🤣
Some of those Chumpires need to be taken outback behind the woodshed for some extra curricular disciplinary sessions. Preferably with a nice wide wooden paddle.
Beltre moving the batter's box was so clutch. LMAO!
4:45 Wow, didn't even know there was a 2nd team with a rightful hate for Kent Hrbek! I guess we found the one thing that Braves and Cardinals fans have in common!
Yeah, the ump blew that call twice. Pathetic...
Dude was in the box and was taking his sweet time. No reason for the umpire to deny Kershaw to start his delivery.
they have (had) a timer for pitchers, why not for batters?
Shoeless Joe Jackson belongs in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
The peg out was awesome
Dude, thanks for providing the CONTEXT for the clip at 3:35, which I've seen many other places without it.
I think the best part of any of the clip at 7:04 was the guy hitting with his bottle 😂
What ?
@@tempsitch5632 Guy in the green shirt by the green pistachios sign…taking some batting practice with his water bottle
@@JimWhitakerMusic Ah. Thank you.
6:33- Are you kidding me ump? Where the HELL is your strike zone at?
Are you blind or something?!
That dodgers player throwin his bat might be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen. Dude got hit by what looked like a 70 mph curve
That George Brett clip always makes me laugh. He was a small player at less than 190 lbs charging an umpire then getting manhandled by 1 umpire. Just funny.
They gotta get a grip on these umpires. What a bunch of weirdos.
When both of those pitches to Asdrubal were strikes....😂
My favorite is Harper getting ejected in citi field and that stadium has never been louder
Also in the reply with the strike zone shown, I feel it wasn’t as outside as the strike zone showed it was. I could be wrong though, just arm chair umpin’.
@@ffwingman329 i don't think you're wrong at all
It didn't look anywhere near as far out as that graph display showed it
I wish they could punch the umps some times lmfao like the one smiling at Ortiz when he’s clearly beyond pissed man that would make me want to just lay him out and I’m surprised Ortiz didnt
That’s exactly what I was thinking watching the clip, seeing the players knock an ump out sometimes would be so satisfying😭
It seems like this movie is for you, as Gargoyles 1972 is for me. Good, cheesy fun! Scott Glenn is in it too.
Cabrera watched two perfect strikes.
These umps are as bad as the players when it comes to egos 🤣🤣
5:40
They really think that was an honest pitch? Went straight at him and hit him in the head. C’mon…
It is funny to see the announcers all using the silly "pitch track" as proof of anything since they often criticize the very same pitch track when they disagree with a call. The funniest one was on one of Kershaw's crybaby moments where the pitchtrack "proved" that maybe a millimeter of the ball was in the strike zone and the homer announcers were acting like the ball was right down the middle
Joe west is the biggest joke to ever stain the history of the MLB.
Looking forward to reading about Joe West's passing.
I will never understand or accept the umps being able to be confrontational and then they don’t fact any repercussions.
It’s disgusting.
