Edit 2: Just watched the video where the mods are asked for their opinion. UnNameD shows his computer logs and it shows the run was done in three sittings as he said. Pretty much undeniable proof and I'm not gonna go as far as doubting the evidence too. This run is legit. I don't particularly care about DarkViper and I'm not some fanboy, but as others have pointed out, there are some places in the run where you would be expected to take damage and where it seems a splice occurred. The fact that this was not livestreamed brings up a lot of questions. Why would anyone spend all that time doing 48 runs of a game and not try to make money off it by streaming it? If you are shy, you could just do a private stream on youtube to save the footage. Again, I'm not a fanboy, but there needs to be some sort of proof given here. If I posted a OHKO run on YT next week I would expect people to have questions about the legitimacy and would have therefore prepared some sort of proof beforehand. Did you not expect that yourself? Edit: I really did not think this comment would get seen by so many people. Had I known, I would have spent more time properly elucidating my thoughts of the authenticity of the run. So first off, let me be clear: I am not saying this run is 100% fake. I am having trouble believing the run is legitimate because it was not streamed. Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge at this time, UnNameD hasn't provided any further evidence to back up the authenticity of the run. And let me reiterate, none of this means I believe the run is confirmed fake, I just don't believe it to be confirmed legit. UnNameD clearly is skilled and knowledgeable at the game and put the time in to come up with new consistent strats, and that lends a lot of credibility to the video. However, I could disable the death counter on the mod (or write my own version of the mod, or anything else to stop the counter from increasing), turn on auto save, and spend a couple weeks getting the necessary footage to splice together a run using cutscenes or black screens between taxi fast travels to seamlessly transition between different attempts. I could post that video under a burner account and claim it took me 48 runs and provide no further proof the run is legitimate. That is why I find a pre recorded run a bit hard to believe. If there is something I don't know that makes splicing the run impossible or proves that it couldn't have been spliced, I would be happy to know about it. Anyways, a lot of the time stamps people keep posting have been debunked as possible so I would suggest people look around the thread before posting about the ragdoll moments, car crashes, or the Trevor stamina thing again. These have all been sufficiently explained to be possible through game mechanics or jank. Also, some people are calling the uploader names and saying the run is obviously fake or whatever. Other people may be saying those things, but I am not those other people so stop bringing it up to me as if I have anything to do with that.

I have tested that jump is most likely to leave you alive in a ohko due to complications in the mod and in the simeon fight i saw a comment saying the stat he used is fake but every time i tryed it it worked even darkviperau used it and it worked

This is incredibly impressive. I'm a fan of Matt's as well, but his response to this was atrocious. Absolute respect to you for pulling this off. I didn't expect anyone to do it anytime soon, especially with Matt's attempts getting worse and worse. Edit to this: Thinking back on this with a bit more information coming out, Matt's response wasn't as bad as I thought. He had worked significantly more for this goal. Keep in mind that there is literally 0 proof of Unnamed's run being legit and could easily be spliced. Unnamed is a significantly less skilled player and took 48 attempts. Matt, a multiple time world record holder in every single category, has put in easily 100 attempts after he had a segmented run without a full run. This makes me a bit suspicious about Unnamed's run actually being legit.

its good that moderators have checked the run. so people go in syaing its cheated with out evidence poeple can both point to the accusers lack of evidence and that the moderators did not detect cheating. hopefully viper fanboys learn that just cause someone whos not viper completes the run before him they are not inherintly cheating (though that might be too high of an expectation)

Ragdoll slipping doesn't guarantee damage unless they're from certain heights or unluckiness, try it yourselves before continuing to spout shit you guys don't know anything about.

@@jacknolan6459 Trevor doesn't run out of stamina. From what I remember, your health bar goes red just before you start actually taking damage. It's still a very stupid risk to take though, and the fall Franklin makes really puts it all into question.

They were skeptical about it because you had no previous normal speedrun footages but the fact you skipped them and only recorded a more difficult type of run (OHKO) shows how you are capable of completing a run that isn’t just the normal type.
DarkViperAU fan here, while yes, many of the strats are taken from Matt's attempts and everything, there are many things that you do that didn't even need to have "+8000 hours" of gameplay to know, some of em are pure logic, like crystal maze, killing as many with stealth will always be the better option. Furthermore, I love how you provide some form of entertainment during the drives, likes flipping people or hitting them with the Tanks Cannon You did it and won the race, hell, I might as well try it, and time myself, who knows, maybe a friendly competition of who does it faster?
But Matt did do 1.5 years of work for OHKO and this guy is ripping it off, stealing most of his strats and got Lucky to complete it before Matt does and is not even crediting him.

Dark Viper AU fan here, here is my review of what his ween tastes like: It has a satisfying silky and smooth texture to it, a fantastic trob as well that makes you clench in anticipation, a bit of heat - but not too much heat - sweetness, sharpness and salt all bundled with a creamy finish. Overall I really enjoyed this meal and recommend it to anyone who loves a mini treat right before bed.
I know a thing or two about being a cheater without actually ever cheating. Great run dude. There will always be someone to hate on you for your successes.

To all the guys accusing UnNameD of cheating, I suggest reading this comment I copied from another user: "So far I see: A timestamp for a ragdoll that does no damage. I don't like how people rubbed it in Matts face, but this guy got their first. Edit 2: Just watched the video where the mods are asked for their opinion. UnNameD shows his computer logs and it shows the run was done in three sittings as he said. Pretty much undeniable proof and I'm not gonna go as far as doubting the evidence too. This run is legit.
I don't particularly care about DarkViper and I'm not some fanboy, but as others have pointed out, there are some places in the run where you would be expected to take damage and where it seems a splice occurred. The fact that this was not livestreamed brings up a lot of questions. Why would anyone spend all that time doing 48 runs of a game and not try to make money off it by streaming it? If you are shy, you could just do a private stream on youtube to save the footage. Again, I'm not a fanboy, but there needs to be some sort of proof given here. If I posted a OHKO run on YT next week I would expect people to have questions about the legitimacy and would have therefore prepared some sort of proof beforehand. Did you not expect that yourself?
Edit: I really did not think this comment would get seen by so many people. Had I known, I would have spent more time properly elucidating my thoughts of the authenticity of the run. So first off, let me be clear: I am not saying this run is 100% fake. I am having trouble believing the run is legitimate because it was not streamed. Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge at this time, UnNameD hasn't provided any further evidence to back up the authenticity of the run. And let me reiterate, none of this means I believe the run is confirmed fake, I just don't believe it to be confirmed legit.
UnNameD clearly is skilled and knowledgeable at the game and put the time in to come up with new consistent strats, and that lends a lot of credibility to the video. However, I could disable the death counter on the mod (or write my own version of the mod, or anything else to stop the counter from increasing), turn on auto save, and spend a couple weeks getting the necessary footage to splice together a run using cutscenes or black screens between taxi fast travels to seamlessly transition between different attempts. I could post that video under a burner account and claim it took me 48 runs and provide no further proof the run is legitimate. That is why I find a pre recorded run a bit hard to believe. If there is something I don't know that makes splicing the run impossible or proves that it couldn't have been spliced, I would be happy to know about it.
Anyways, a lot of the time stamps people keep posting have been debunked as possible so I would suggest people look around the thread before posting about the ragdoll moments, car crashes, or the Trevor stamina thing again. These have all been sufficiently explained to be possible through game mechanics or jank. Also, some people are calling the uploader names and saying the run is obviously fake or whatever. Other people may be saying those things, but I am not those other people so stop bringing it up to me as if I have anything to do with that.

Edit to this: Thinking back on this with a bit more information coming out, Matt's response wasn't as bad as I thought. He had worked significantly more for this goal. Keep in mind that there is literally 0 proof of Unnamed's run being legit and could easily be spliced. Unnamed is a significantly less skilled player and took 48 attempts. Matt, a multiple time world record holder in every single category, has put in easily 100 attempts after he had a segmented run without a full run. This makes me a bit suspicious about Unnamed's run actually being legit.

Many of my strats were developed only and only because alt strat did not work for me, it's most likely a hardware/FPS based strat. Exception to this is of course strats on TPI, Mr. Richards and Complications. One time on TPI I got shot while throwing grenades 3 times in a row, so I tried moving away from window to see what I can possibly do. On Mr. Richards it happened once that Rocco dodged the kick (idk, maybe I fucked something up) so I just went with jerry can to prevent it. I won't touch on Complications because Matt expressed he knew about making Simeon passive. Also almost all of my optimisations were developed in span of late April and May. The buffered ledge grab on Hood Safari was tested 1h before I started the run. So in what world could I share this particular strat?
In short: I elimanted alt strat and some RNG parts from the run and that's it.

@@jacknolan6459 Trevor doesn't run out of stamina. From what I remember, your health bar goes red just before you start actually taking damage. It's still a very stupid risk to take though, and the fall Franklin makes really puts it all into question.

DarkViperAU fan here, while yes, many of the strats are taken from Matt's attempts and everything, there are many things that you do that didn't even need to have "+8000 hours" of gameplay to know, some of em are pure logic, like crystal maze, killing as many with stealth will always be the better option.
Furthermore, I love how you provide some form of entertainment during the drives, likes flipping people or hitting them with the Tanks Cannon
You did it and won the race, hell, I might as well try it, and time myself, who knows, maybe a friendly competition of who does it faster?
But Matt did do 1.5 years of work for OHKO and this guy is ripping it off, stealing most of his strats and got Lucky to complete it before Matt does and is not even crediting him.

Dark Viper AU fan here, here is my review of what his ween tastes like: It has a satisfying silky and smooth texture to it, a fantastic trob as well that makes you clench in anticipation, a bit of heat - but not too much heat - sweetness, sharpness and salt all bundled with a creamy finish. Overall I really enjoyed this meal and recommend it to anyone who loves a mini treat right before bed.

-Claims he couldn't live stream it and play GTA5 at the same time, but his computer is apparently able to handle recording equipment and GTA5?

To all the guys accusing UnNameD of cheating, I suggest reading this comment I copied from another user:

A timestamp for a ragdoll that does no damage. Matt himself has explained that ragdolling/fall damage is very wonky - things that seemingly should do damage don't, and things that appear very minor will do damage inexplicably.
A mention of red health bar when sprinting. Matt himself has explained that the red bar means you're ABOUT to take damage from no stamina, not that you already have.
A timestamp a hit in a car. Matt himself has explained that it is difficult to take damage in car crashed unless you are going very fast (noticing a trend yet?).
Multiple accusations of it being spliced. No proof or timestamps provided.
Edit: Multiple comments now about Michael getting a bunch of money on the way to see Dave at the observatory. This is literally part of the game; you get the payout after a call from Lester (which is quickly skipped like in a speedrun, you still get the money of course). When basic facts about the game are being used as "evidence" of cheating, it's clear people aren't looking at the run fairly.

I would also like to say that it is pretty unlikely for the run to be spliced, because the npcs seems to be in the same place, but when you save and load, all npcs gets moved to a different location. If this was a speedrun I would agree for this run to be considered unacceptable, but considering that this is just a challenge run, not a speedrun, I think it would be wise to believe it to be legit until proven otherwise

I like DarkViper, but it appears this guy completed it fair and square, and it looks legit, and of course innocent until proven guilty. He used Matt's strategies and all of his knowledge, but as far as I'm concerned if he didn't want someone to use his many hours of hard work, he shouldn't have shared it.
