Nice set you’ve got there. I have the same ones with the superbass B and the station sounds diner. Keep on the hunt for that B unit. It’s worth it for the sounds it adds
Peachy, You don’t have to set these engines up as a train, if you assign both A units with the same ID say 54 the A unit with sounds always starts in forward and the A unit without sounds will always start in reverse. The electro-couplers on the front of both units will also work as appropriate using front and rear coupler commands. Give it a try.
Thank you! I was worried they would be too big to run on my layout, but thankfully they take the curves just fine. They look a little big, but I'm ok with that lol
Very nice! Those are absolutely gorgeous locomotives. They are pretty large, but your layout makes them look right at home. Even though my new layout is fairly good sized, I'm not sure that they would look right with the way my set-up is. Passenger cars are my favorite and those are quit fine. Keep the passenger trains coming! An excellent video, as always.
@@peachystrains8772 They are always fun to run and they really make the layout pop. So far, I have 52 O gauge passenger cars, mostly AMT and a dozen O27 cars, mixed between Lionel and Marx. When I get the third main finished on my layout, I'll post a video on Instagram, under conrailjohn, with three big passenger trains running. It should be interesting, to say the least. I have one on there now, with my AMT Southern Crescent set running. Keep up the fine videos.
Beautiful engines Peachy! Oh yeah, I could just see them barreling out of Richmond's Broad Street Station and heading South with a vengeance! Or heading North out of Washington's Union Station during a nasty winter snowstorm when the Pennsy's GG1's shorted out! Oh yeah, it was known to happen. The RF&P's E-units had to pinch-hit as well from time to time. Congratulations on that fine aquisition!
4:22 Funnily enough, your makeshift consist of the Coast Line's Champion isn't far off. Typically the train ran with EMC E-3 diesels, alongside... - A baggage-coach w/ 22 revenue seats - Three coaches each w/ 60 seats - One 52-seat coach w/ a stewardess room - A diner w/ 48 seats - A lounge-observation car

Those things are amazing! Vanilla bourbon scented smoke fluid... That sounds strong yet delicious!
It's actually not too overpowering, but it does smell really good!

Thank you so much!
The matching ACL engines look great together. I'm really glad you found them MIB/NIB. Enjoy them.
Thank you so much!
Very nice, I think you're going to need a bigger layout or a bigger house, lol
Maybe both lol!
I'm an ACL fan. Those engines are beautiful. I almost got them but thought they were too large for my 8x8 layout. Went with MTH premier F3s.
Thank you! I was worried they would be too big to run on my layout, but thankfully they take the curves just fine. They look a little big, but I'm ok with that lol
Great addition to your collection
Thank you!
Super cool. Enjoy running them, looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you so much!
Train sound looks nice! Nice video there
Thank you so much!
Do you provide training for spouses that will allow ceiling mounted trains in the Living room?
Haha I haven't yet, but that would be an interesting idea!
Lovely ACL engines! They look great!
Thank you!
As my friend and fellow train collector Ward Kimball used to say, it's an investment!
Very nice!
Thank you!

Thank you so much! It took me a while to get into passenger cars, but I absolutely love them now!
