Nice! I really like how you have incorporated your life into the layout; the farm, the grain elevator, and naming places after your daughters. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome back, Chris!! I really love your videos. When you mentioned that a layout is never finished, that is 100% true. I'm don't even done with my layout either. I'm always changed things on my layout. Can't wait to more of those train videos!!
I love my Atlas Track, but you are right Chris, it is expensive. When I tell people it is about a dollar an inch, their jaws drop! That obviously does not include the Turnouts and other special track. Good to see you back. Great Video, thanks for Sharing!
I recently started a TH-cam channel early of this year. I made my first Lionel video about how to get a heavyweight Pullman passenger car to run from 042 curve to 027 curve tracks. The results of that, was absolutely fantastic.
Ah being young and being able to crawl under the bridge. I’m rethinking my decision at my age. Not an easy task anymore. Next up Chris,s hair styles over the last couple of years lol
Yes! RBP trains, it's great to see you. Your layout is good! Enjoy it! Model railroading is different for everyone! I remember my Dad making two extremely strong layout tables from lumber, oddly enough from discarded wood from boxcars on a railroad siding we'd visit. This was the late 60's early 70's. After He did the hard work, I just had to lay the track and run my HO trains. Occasionally He'd sit on the steps leading out of the basement and take in the proceedings of me operating the layout, but He never said a word, just wanted me to enjoy myself. Never said anything about improving, etc... In fact, once my brother suggested some improvement and I was telling my Dad about it and Dad said you don't have to do that, what you have is fine. Miss Dad, a lot! My brother? At the time, a private pilot teaching lessons, now a retired BNSF locomotive engineer! Life is good, so enjoy it. Again, like I said, it's Great to see you! You're partially one of the reasons I've begun submitting my own model train videos to TH-cam! One of my recent posts just got 200+ views. Oh, I realize that's nothing in the Great World of TH-cam videos, but I'm just happy to have shared my model and hobbies with others. Kinda special. Hope you'll be around for a while and keep up the good work!!! Sincerely, Nathan in Chicago 🇺🇲
Thanks so much for all your videos. I hope to see you at York next spring. I have MS and this summer saw a three month relpae and it was no party. My trains and these videos kept my spirits up. God richly bless you, your family and others that have done the same thing.
I am so sorry to hear about the relapse. It is such a terrible disease. I am glad that these videos were able to help in some way. I hope for nothing but the best for you and I will look for ya at the Spring show as long as I can make it
Layout is looking good Chris! Nice to see a new video from you. I like that angle from the bridge too, very interesting perspective! I love how you included walnut planks in. Very creative, and a nice ode to your Gpa! Great video Chris!
I get lying under the bridge... almost makes you feel like you are under a real train looking up from a river or a canyon. Love the layout and love your enthusiasm!!
Good morning, Chris! It was great to open up TH-cam this morning and to see you in the Train Room and that you had created a video. And a wonderful video at that. Your tour of the layout was sensational, and I loved it. Thank you for sharing it with us! Bill B.
@@RBPTrains Well, you are a busy guy, and it seems so am I, as hard as it may seem to believe. I am retired and I sometimes just don't know where the time goes. Very strange. But with that said, just say when and we can chat. I'd love that! Bill
So glad you’re back! Been in and out of the hobby through my life with N and HO scale. Wanted to always have an O gauge presence and your channel finally pushed me over the edge. Hopefully you keep updating.
It's nice to have another video as always Chris. I recently had purchased an MTH Richmond Frederick & Potomac 4-6-4 Hudson and it runs like a beauty. I highly recommend buying it.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I really enjoy your layout, and I especially enjoy your approach to the O scale hobby. We're fortunate to have you as a content uploader and I always look forward to your videos.
Absolutely love your layout! I'm currently building an American Flyer "S" Gauge layout with my grandfather, who started the hobby for me when he gave me his old engine. I'm trying to make our layout look fairly realistic, your layout is a great example of what I'm aiming to achieve. Kudos to you! Great video.
Also RBP, the big rock wall you have stretching underneath your LEGO town, is that painted Styrofoam? If not, what did you use? I have a similar style higher track I'm attempting to make a wall for it to sit on, very similar to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I miss your old intro I loved listening of to the music and watching the trains pass by which i personally can here now whenever I see a train anywhere now
Great video, I love the view from under the bridge, that is really cool. As someone who has followed you almost from the beginning, I remember the early red eyed Chris working on ballast late night, this is a great recap that shows how you have expanded your layout but still stayed true to your fun / nostalgic side, leaving key elements of your layout intact.
Great to see you back! Your one of the best ! No right or wrong when it comes to your layout. I run o-gauge, standard gauge and g gauge on my layout and it works for me. Your layout is fantastic. Enjoy and have fun!
Great layout overview Chris! Appreciate seeing all the areas identified and explained. And, of course, great to see you are doing well!! Keep up the great work!!
Good Morning Chris. Just enjoyed a hot cup of coffee ☕ and your video tour. Hope you had a great summer. Always goes buy so fast. Layout looks great 👍🏻

Thanks chris for this very detailed and interesting layout overview! I was at the york show when you picked up that Stephenville bridge, it looks so good on your layout. And I like all the different town scenes and how your girls add to them.
My son is elated to see "Our Friend Chris" back on the big screen. Thanks for making our morning! Now we've gotta run our trains!
Had to make a video after we were texting, lol

my pops uses a 2 rail Kline Hellgate bridge on a hinged piece of wood. you just pick it up, walk inside, and drop in down behind you.
