I love plunder and it's gimmick, haven't played it and i'm currently looking for a budget option since i can't afford the Fiendsmith engine, but it's nice to see what they are capable of
I usually play it in 3 main ways, with adventure token to bait handtraps but it can be a bit of a brick, using the runick engine, wich is kinda nice but going second you have to let the guy do his full combo so it's very reliant on the coinflip, and my personal favorite, pure with a lot of staples, the non engine can help going first or second, you can interact more on turn zero and there's no need to cut redbeard since it has zero bricks. (Kaijus are nice too, you can use it on turn 1 to get atributes or get the guys ash out)
certainly not ideal feature of plunder patroll. however if you give them token that means you get the negate to beat it, and they can only summon the requiem once.
Yep, but also if theyre on fiendsmith engine, their cards become pretty unusable for the turn anyway once they commit to requiem with the token. Its not like youll now have to stop two requiems, gonna have to stop a requiem anyway
@phantomsygo well typically you play fiendsmith as an engine in a larger deck. You negate the requiem that you gave them access to and you don't have the negate to deal with their entire other engine. I think plunder is in a really terrible spot until fiendsmith shifts out of the meta which... Will take a long time or a banlist
@johnnickfanaccount3492 it feels pretty bad to give him the full combo for free, dipsea fiend is better turn one but unfortunately it isn't a consistent way to play
If you want to play plunder, this is the best way. If you want to play fiendsmith, this is not the most competitive way. Some people, like me, already have the FS cards and want to play a fun deck to change it up, or some people really enjoy plunder cards and would rather play a pet deck than go all out on winning with meta
That so funny I was just watching the first video you made about plunder patroll cause I was interested in the archetype
Yes brother!! The plunder GOAT ❤ heck yeah
loving it, Plunder is always the deck that keeps calling me back

If you can afford fiendsmith just play a better deck at that point
Not everyone wants to play the meta decks
