When we left high school back in 81 and we got into our careers I asked my friend if he could make me a cassette for my car as I drove a great deal for my work. He did!!! What a fantastic piece of music work he put on that tape!! I wore it out of course. Thanks Tom for WRECKIN BALL!.
This is the version that I love - on the original LP. The version that is now on the digital version on Apple Music has a Knitters acoustic version! They replaced this song and a few others on the LP with different, acoustic versions. Ugh. But, this version... Always a favorite.
Anyone notice that this CD version was replaced by a different, shorter, and not-as-good version when this album was posted on streaming services? I have a copy of the CD and I think this is the only song they changed.
You are right, they DID change the version of this song (also one of my favorite tunes). I am annoyed. This version is much different, more bluegrass...original version was more rockin' and was MUCH better!
I absolutely love this song. My favorite version of my favorite song from My favorite band. Thank you.
the greatest American band in history.
No objections.
