That’s a beautiful home. I think for myself, the only thing that would deter me from buying that it’s just that there’s nowhere else to go. If you’re not in your bedroom and it’s too hot to go outside, you can only sit in the living room because nowhere else to go. I’m kind of in the same situation here in the states and it’s just 2 of us and we feel on top of one another most days. This will probably be great for a small family with little children.

This is a nice house for the price in U.S dollars. I cannot believe over $140,000 for a new house and with a pool even. I just flew back to Los Angeles, Ca. from GDL- Guadalajara, and man they have beautiful homes there also. I loved GDL the people are so welcoming. It is growing so fast. I see they are building many High-Rise Condos, and I have seen the Penthouse's just unbelievable what you pay for compared to the U. S. The gated communities in GDL. are really nice with golf courses and beautiful homes more of a modern style and the pools at some homes are amazing. My props to the builders and pool designers there. Maybe one day!

Love the house , crazy about the front door and the set up by the pool. Not ideal for small children but older ones yes. Hate there is no oven! You could always do a large counter convection oven . I wouldn’t put grass but nice pebbles.

It is a nice home but theres no green space feels like your boxed in
Provada north of Merida. Homes new 150,000 are nice.
It has come a long was since we viewed it in early June. The final project is beautiful. Love the large tiles on the floor. Coach V.
It’s a beautiful home. How would you work out the deal with the vehicle that belongs to the current home? Would you have to return it to the owner upon vacancy or will he continue to lease it to you?

Im thinking the reason for the recent uptick US$ vs MX$ is US Treasury Secretary Powell hinted at cutting the fed interest rate. I would not base any large purchases, or monthly payments upon the current exchange rate. As soon as the election is over, which Im hoping will be uncontested, I expect the exchange rate to either stabilize, or narrow. Bringing the peso closer to the dollar.
Disagree. Mexico Peso is continually improving at 4% yr over year. Plus new Chinese and Korean investments are creating industries bringing jobs.
The dollar will loose value against the peso as soon as the Fed lowers interest rates.
Is it less efficient to cool with high ceilings?
Prices have gone up alot. You compare the cost to the States. It's Mexico, outside city parameter of even Merida. Why not compare to Mexican comps?

That is a cute house and it's nice that all of the bedrooms have bathrooms and doorwalls out to the pool area providing lots of light. I do have a general question, I have noticed that most of the homes you show have door locks on all of the interior doors with keys, do you know why that is?
Question, can toilet paper be flush in the toilet in the new houses.
The pool is too small and is it filtered?
