    Eric, I think you're an excellent representative and steward of the 4 wheeling community and a decent guy in general. Thank you for putting out these videos for all to enjoy!

    This water trap reminds me of the onee the Cherokee was stuck in overnight & Eric had to use other rigs as an anchor

      +tractorboy31 12:00 & 13:09 actually, he moved him about a foot. Any time you have a weight differential like that, it's tough to get the heavy vehicle out. I didn't really like the flex in the Dodges front bumper, tho.
      I had to pull out a Ramcharger nosed into hole with my CJ once. The only way I could get him out was to stretch a Hi-Lift between us, bury the CJ, and winch him 3 feet at a time. It took a while, lol.

    I don't run a rear hatch specifically for that reason. That water gets really gross and that sand becomes a permanent part of your boots and pants

    obviously if you have to do a full recovery tow out of the woods it isn't going to be cheap but how much does it cost just to pull them out of a hole like that first jeep?

    Alright off roaders I need some help I have an 85 Blazer with a 454 and stock everything I put MT Baja MTZ's on it and there great for the mild bit off off road driving I do but there horrible on the road, loud, vibrate and on wet pavement like slicks, I'm currently looking for tires for my 2009 GMC 2500HD again I want something decent off road but definitely with more of a streetable ride... Any suggestions guys and gals?

      I love my Wrangler Duratracs. Super quiet and good (by my standards) off road.

    • @sheenafrancisco1760
      @sheenafrancisco1760 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hate to say this but you are wanting the best of both worlds mtzs are some of the quieter off road tires you might have better luck with an all terrain but they aren't really aggressive enough for any real four wheeling

    • @forterierocks
      @forterierocks 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't mind a bit of noise it's the ride quality the MTZ'S give, anything above 55MPH and the truck feels like it's going to vibrate apart, I thought is was a balance problem but I had them re-balenced and still horrible, thought maybe issue with the Blazer so put stock wheels back on and rode great, tire shop suggested Toyo Open Country's but a buddy has them and says waste of money. I was thinking BFG's Ko2's anyone have any experience with them?

    • @fixaday
      @fixaday 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have Open Country AT2s on my ram 3500 and they're excellent. Cheap, wear great, and showing good life expectancy. Road noise is great, the first few weeks I noticed a little but it's so minimal I got used to it. And that's switching from michelin ltx ms2 (extremely quiet tires). I think when I balanced them they were within 4oz from the factory and all had less than 15 lbs road force. For a 245/70r17, that's impressive in my opinion. Good quality control and manufacturing on toyo's behalf. Very impressive for a $600 set of tires.
      Keep in mind I haven't bought but a couple sets in my life, but in my experience I would buy them again.

      Duratracs are the best of both worlds, aggressive enough for decent wheeling and well mannered enough for street driving. Besides that theyre the best in snow ive ever had
