The answer to some of our problem areas were right in front of us a few months back : when we played PSV and Lens - there were some absolute gems there. In midfield, up front and down the flanks (both attacking and in defense) I was so impressed. Watch those games again and just focus on their players in stead of ours. Some real, untouched gems there.

He has so far scored 32 EPL goals in 5873 minutes (about 0.5 goals per 90 minutes). Also, remember that 11 of those EPL goals were penalties. Eddie Nketiah has about 0.45 goals per 90 EPL minutes (last 3 seasons) Jesus is at 0.42. As much as I like Eddie and Jesus we need an upgrade. But it will be insane to spend 100 million on Toney. Bayern bought Kane (0.8 per 90 EPL minutes) for 100 million!
I would definitely sell Eddie to Palace at least for 35M. He had enough chances to prove that he can be our No.1 striker. Try to buy Toney or Dusan Vlahovic.

Toney won’t do much better as a scorer because the striker in this system isn’t designed to be the main scorer. Martinelli, Saka, Oodegard are supposed to be chipping in with an equal amount of goals. Eddie (quality aside) truly doesn’t fit what Arteta wants

It is irrelevant if Arsenal can or can't sign a striker, they must. If they do not then they may not even finish in the top four let alone challenge for the title. Also, Arteta needs to revert to how the team was playing last season if he won't make any signings this month. This more control approach isn't working, slow build up and predictable, it is restricting the natural flair of the front three.
