You do understand that the people who actually worked on halo infinite are gone, the people who are still working on the game now were not the people we saw in the video who are making the unreal 5 hall games(s). It basically is a whole new studio, not just a new hat

Pierre is still the lead, Melissa boone worked for 343 for a year already at least (diversity hire). This is indeed a new hat and if you can't see it you've simply been fooled, spartan.
So you do know that 343 went through 3 rounds of firings? all the upper management is gone (screw bonnie ross and frank oconner), and tons of devs were sacked. Then they passed it over to the new studio head who was responsible to fixing mcc and make it great. i mean even many dept heads are new. It essentially a brand new studio with a new philosophy. They also made this announcement as a hiring call to build the studio up.

Nobody’s giving their hopes up, but it was management who made all the creative and design decisions. The people you are pointing at who are keeping their job had no say so in it, they just moved as they were told. Moving from slip space engine to unreal will be a monumental upgrade, graphics here are just a plus. They will be able to add way more and do so way more frequently. Theres virtually no downside to this announcement, they’re not trying to trick us. You can’t hate on this until you see what they’re working up, but this is all ONLY good news for now

The employees that stayed have had nothing to do with the design choice of the gameplay or anything else.
The management was the main issue with 343 and that has changed. Footsoldier devs were not the issue. Also 343 had huge layoffs from Microsoft the past year and is hiring other people right now. Doesn't mean anything until they release a good game, but some things you said are not 100% accurate.

It's still infinite and with the shitty engine unfortunately not much more can be done. Whatever's next could be ass. Or it could be great. We don't know at all yet though. All I'm saying is everything we learned in that update was a good thing for us

Not completely a developer issue, it's largely a management and culture issue. Judging by the managers in that vid, I don't think this culture is going to change. Need to get rid of the Microsoft people if we want a good Halo game. Imagine Halo in the hands of AA devs. Could be a god tier game.
Except in that, Halo infinite's team is mostly gone. The reality of it is it was only the higher ups really needed to get the boot. Don't act like Infinite was bad in any way. It objectively had the best multiplayer, the gunplay was the best the franchise has seen. The issue was that the higher ups pushed it too early which meant that while the game was great there wasnt enough content and to top it off there was ridiculous microtransactions. Don't blame the devs, blame management. Even moreso, don't talk shit out of your ass if you don't know what you're talking about
