As a queer aspiring author who wants to write queer lit, that conversation about diversity really close to home. I remember feeling like I’d never make it in the book industry because queer books/authors rarely received any hype at all. I think it’s extremely important to support marginalized authors and I love the at Larry is promoting that. (Btw, if you want to get into queer lit, I’d recommend Shaun David Hutchinson’s books, specifically his autobiography Brave Face. Check TWs though)
