Driving Whiteface Mountain - Adirondack Park, NY

- I drove down Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington, NY, the fifth highest mountain in the state of NY. I drove this in October of 2021 so the fall foliage really becomes visible once I get to a lower elevation. This was a great drive, so scenic, and amazing to see the Adirondacks from this viewpoint.

Absolutely beautiful! There's autumn and then there's autumn in upstate New York.
Yes exactly! Something special about autumn in that area.
It's my favorite mountain here. I love this place. If you live here then you know how truly blessed you really are. There's no other place like this on earth. 6 million acres makes this larger than 5 National Parks combined. Scientists say that the rock literally just rose up from the ground, which makes The ADK quite unique. And they say the mountains are actually growing.
Oh man! The vista's. The Autumn foliage! Smooth ride.
Nothing like upstate NY in the fall.

Is it scary? Or just fine? I saw a video of a lady saying it was the scariest drive of her life
Why would be scary? It's one of the most scenic rides you'll ever experience. The only scary part is probably driving alone at like 3 in the morning.
