This guy would be a blast to jam with and write music with!
Let’s have some fun!
Thanks for the video, just purchased the white sg type based on your review. Much appreciated!
All right, all right, all right!!! Sweet! It’s a really fun guitar and I hope it’s a happy human/guitar match. It made me want to rock out.
Sounds like you can record your vocals right through those pickups.
lol I didn't really give that a proper test. I've definitely experience worse when it comes to microphonic pickups
Pickups are not microphonic by design. Most times what you hear is the strings reacting to sound and that's what the pickups are responding to. Easy test remove all strings and check if you can hear anything. No string no sound....it isn't a microphone. Guitarist are not versed in science and they tend to repeat what they hear.
I've been toying with the idea of getting a LJDC for quite some time.I've always been a big fan of SG guitars, and, as somebody who plays open mics on a regular basis I'm always looking for a good sounding, cheap, budget friendly guitar, and this seems to fit the bill. Thanks for the demo. I'll let you know what I think once I order it, and play it myself.
If you enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed mine, you’re gonna be a happy jam machine
Writing music is creative and creation is a Godly trait.
I couldn’t agree more.
Mines coming this thursday. Ama rock hard with this one.
I hope you love it like I loved mine.
sweet guitar bro!
im looking at sg style models myself...this style looks super!
It was really sweet. I returned it because they sent the wrong one. But I miss this one. Even my wife misses it.
@@MartinBlasick ooo man sounds like ya need to get it back or one just like it haha!
Soooo looking for an SG style guitar for Doom Metal style of music. In time modify it if possible. Do you recommend this for that Martin? So many SG options.... I'm a Rock player but play a tele in a country rock band. Venturing back to my roots of Sabbath style music but don't want to break the bank. Opinon needed and matters....love the channel
The SG and Sabbath go together like peas and carrots. I liked this guitar a lot and am sorry I returned it even though I they sent me the wrong one. It made me want to play it. Appreciate your kind words.
Very cool video. Hope you kept that guitar for the price and sound.
I wish too but I let it go back. Got my eye on another lime one by LJ
thanks Martin for the review. How accessible are the higher frets 21 and higher? I'm shopping for a guitar to turn it into a dedicated slide guitar.
Pretty decent. You can get a pretty good idea just checking how my hand can go up there. The black Asmuse review in another video has incredible access all the way to the 24th fret. But this is green hot rod will make a great slide machine.
How thin is the body? I’m looking for a light weight guitar with a thin body, I like the color white and I do like the pricing 😂
It seemed thin. It’s a light guitar for sure, easy on the shoulder. I’m sorry I let it go. It was a ton of fun.
@@MartinBlasick it’s okay and nice, My first ever guitar was a squier strat mini I bought at a pawn shop. Been chasing the dragon of thin bodied guitars ever since and this seems perfect!
Were you able to intonate the guitar correctly,? The one another reviewer got had the bridge in the wrong place and he couldn't intonate the guitar.
That’s an interesting question because I don’t remember if I worked on that. I just grabbed it and had fun with it out of the box. I’ve been on an intonation binge since then and occasionally run into a string that doesn’t fully get into intonation because there’s no where left for it to go. The black Asmuse guitar intonated properly. And an ancient Tiesco got in perfect intonation.
color is pretty cool
I totally got obsessed with it
Color is super nice. Do you know if the pickups are ceramic or alnico?
still got it?
@@EpyonRoyal I actually ordered the single cut. So I sent this one back because it was the wrong model and replaced it with Asmuse guitar. But thinking back on it I really wish I had kept it. My wife loved that crazy green guitar and it was a blast to play. I’m seriously thinking about purchasing it again.
Wish they made a lefty
Have you ever seen a violinist playing lefty? I always wondered why guitar players do that and violinist don’t.
@@MartinBlasickI never watched a violinist so I'm not sure. My guess would be the shape of the violin & the way it's strung. But in some cases people need to change from their OG form of playing from right to left. It's like competently starting over.
Unrelated, but you kind of look like Mark Cuban
Lol i’ll give him some music tips if he gives me some money making tips ha ha
It looks like caution tape yellow.
It sure does. I couldn’t have said it better.
