    Thanks! Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Couldn’t ask for a better fit.
    BTW I have a Beeman 1336 Chief 2 Synthetic. I just bought a Umarex Gauntlet magazine to see if it would work in it , and it does!
    The Gauntlet magazine works in both the Air Venturi Avenger AND the Umarex Origin, so this mod should work for all four rifles.
    It seems that these bolts and receivers are being sourced from the same manufacturer.
    Thanks again for the heads up. Finding the right o rings can be a real pain.

      Yeah, bolt and receivers are made in the same factory. Also, they all use a "Marauder style" magazine from Crosman's design

    Can you leave the original o-rings on and cover it with the shrink tube, or will it not seal correctly when the probe is inserted?

    I solder nearly all my electrical connections. So I always have surplus heat shrink. Marine heat shrink has like hot glue inside and the wall thickness of the tubing is greater than standard heat shrink. It could be more durable.

      Yes sir. I'll never use anything else again. This solution is pretty foolproof and talk about steady FPS. I recently got 3 chrony doups in a row. I've had 2 a lot of times but 1st time I've had 3 in a row.

    Thanks. Do you cut a piece of heat shrink for O Ring groves heat them first, then heat shrink over it all. Thanks in advance.

  • @alienairguns
    @alienairguns 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I noticed that three edge of the barrel beach is sharp and I think that's what's tearing up the orings. I ton a half moon needle file and put a light lead in the beach. Let's see how it holds up.

  • @Donny_Juanny

    I'm confused. You cut two smaller bands and put in o ring groove and then covered entire bolt, or did you leave the o rings on and then cover with shrink or did you take o rings off??

    • @robert7984
      @robert7984  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I took the rings off. Ill be doing a video in the next couple of days. It will show everything.

      My question exactly. Or cut shrink for groves where O Rings went. Then cover probe.

      Make sure the bolt is clean and oil free. Also I noticed a BIG difference in thermal tube thickness and durability from manufacturer to manufacturer. Be sure you get the heavy duty stuff.

    Someone is making a killing off of selling little chopped up pieces of 3/16 small engine fuel line for $10 each, LOL! I ordered one of these kits and compared to said fuel line that can be obtained from Advanced Auto by the foot for a few dollars and it's identical in every way. Save yourself some money, make 5 or so "O-ring delete kits" and still have line left over to repair your gasoline weed eater.
