Madison gets hate for being 'too perfect'. When she started releasing music she was "just a pretty face with no talent", then when she writes an amazing song "she got so much help she can't write anything herself", then she shows her amazing vocal ability and it's "all autotune" or she's "overdoing it". It's just silly. She's extremely talented, and she deserves the credit for that.
She has a beautiful voice and it’s a shame that people let their emotions and insecurities decide and blind their opinion into believing that she’s not talented, clearly she is. like i don’t like certain celebrities bc of their behaviour but i still respect and enjoy their work, for madison whether you like her or not shouldn’t affect your ears and your opinion on her as a singer 🤦♀️
in my opinion i think Madison is experiencing what Ariana experienced during her first years or during her debut where she was constantly being compared to Mariah Carey because they "similar"styles and looj where Ari is now , im sure when Madision finds her own style she’ll also dominate the industry
I think the difference is that Ariana had those comparisons when she first debuted - whilst Madison seems to have only recently became similar to Ariana.
I’m a big Ari fan and I don’t think Madison is copying Ari or sounds like Ari. I could 100% tell their voices apart. But Madison’s performance was really good. She doesn’t deserve any hate for this performance. She’s got an awesome voice.
Of course you can tell them apart but I think you can clearly tell that Madison was very much influenced by Ariana's style of singing, she used to sing in a completely different style.

Maybe she was really nervous? I know when I get nervous, I take more breaths than necessary because I'm unconsciously breathing faster because of the nerves and fear of running out of breath.
That's some nitpicky shit, it takes a lot of effort to get that good so let's just respect it - of course she needs to improve some things, most singers in this lifetime don't reach their max potential but at the end of the day 90% of the audience won't notice these nitpicky things and there are TONS of artists who can't even sing their own songs live.

It upsets me when singers to 1,000 runs in the national anthem because that then makes the song about you and people can't sing with you. She has a beautiful voice and her runs are flawless. But I dont think you should add a run into the national anthem until the very ends and you have warned the run. Thats why I think lady gagas national amthem was so clean and flawless. Can I just say that I'm Madison's age and essentially grew up with her and followed her career since the beginning. Not all criticism she got was because "she is pretty and people are jealous." Watch videos of her singing in 2012-2016. She was alright, but certainly not as good as she is now. How she sings now is purely the result of a lot of hard work. Her voice developed, matured, and was trained. I remember when she first started that people compared Madison's voice to a goat. For years, she ignored all the "you can't sing" and "music is not for you" cries from the crowd, put her head down, and worked on her craft. It's actually really impressive and inspiring that she didn't give up and now sounds amazing.
She's so underrated and everyone is just body shaming her for having beauty standards and forget about her talent!! Dude look at her lyrics!! Her co-producing work!! Being the art director of most of her music videos!!!! Like her music videos are so amazing and meaningful

She sounds really great and those high notes were fantastic.... but we aren't going to talk about her breathing? She took breaths in the middle of words (ex: perilous) and took breaths in the middle of phrases. I think she needs a vocal coach to help teach her these nuances so they become muscle memory.
Maybe she was really nervous? I know when I get nervous, I take more breaths than necessary because I'm unconsciously breathing faster because of the nerves and fear of running out of breath.

It upsets me when singers to 1,000 runs in the national anthem because that then makes the song about you and people can't sing with you. She has a beautiful voice and her runs are flawless. But I dont think you should add a run into the national anthem until the very ends and you have warned the run. Thats why I think lady gagas national amthem was so clean and flawless. Im impressed with her sound and I wish she would use it more on her own music.

Can I just say that I'm Madison's age and essentially grew up with her and followed her career since the beginning. Not all criticism she got was because "she is pretty and people are jealous." Watch videos of her singing in 2012-2016. She was alright, but certainly not as good as she is now. How she sings now is purely the result of a lot of hard work. Her voice developed, matured, and was trained. I remember when she first started that people compared Madison's voice to a goat. For years, she ignored all the "you can't sing" and "music is not for you" cries from the crowd, put her head down, and worked on her craft. It's actually really impressive and inspiring that she didn't give up and now sounds amazing.
She's so underrated and everyone is just body shaming her for having beauty standards and forget about her talent!! Dude look at her lyrics!! Her co-producing work!! Being the art director of most of her music videos!!!! Like her music videos are so amazing and meaningful

Hi Tristan, I also am a singer and coach vocals. Thank-you for your nice comments about Madison! I'm a new fan and think she is fantastic. I too cannot see how she can get dislikes. I guess maybe thats just not their style or they are jealous or haters. Not only is she talented vocally but she can write too about real experiences that people can relate to. Kudos to this artist who is brave and strong enough to be real and transparent in such an industry.
