Watched this fight live last night and I thought it was 1-1 going into the third. It was a close fight on all accounts but Kelly took the 3rd on activity alone IMO

Faress, even if you have rounds 1 and 2 by huge points but if you don't perform on the 3rd round you deserve to loss. I would even call that a unanimous and not split for Kelly.

Faress didn't deserve to win. It seems his two eggs and 1 hot dog were too heavy. So he didn't engage instead just lazy waiting for his opponent to strike. Boring.

The fisrt round was so competitive, kelly took the takedown but he throw a prohibited kick and lost a point while fares throw effective kicks, in the second round it was a dominant round by fares, took the triangle choke and he took the second round for sure, the third round fares wasn't effective as kelly while kelly was throwing some low kicks and jabs, so if kelly took the third round, but fares took two rounds before.

On the third round, both fighters almost made the entire 5mins dancing only with both their eyes instead of fist and kicks. What a shame!
