Mine works very well and mapped my house accurately during its first run. Tips I saw online : 1) Lights on to help the camera during mapping, 2) Run on economy mode during the first run so that it can navigate longer before returning to the dock and create a more complete map, and 3) Give the map accuracy positive or negative feedback in the app after mapping is done.

Great video. I have mine for almost a year and it does great. Not even a single problem so far. Run it every second day, 1900 sqf house. It was able to map my house very first time when I started it. Never had to remap again. The only problem when it comes to these robot vacuums is that the people except too much from them and don't understand their purpose. It will only keep your floors clean between regular vacuuming and that's all. It won't do any deep cleaning, wash your dishes, pick up toys or go to grocery store for you. Keep it real. God bless

I'm really hoping it can take over most of my vaccuuming . Someone is selling the Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty XL locally for $260 Cdn. Says they only tried it once. I was going to get one of the iLifes, probably a 2 in 1 model w/ a mop, but I'm thinking about it. I have chronic pain issues. Vaccuuming isn't as hard, but I can't wash floors and have an iLife Shinebot 400s on the way. Pretty excited about that.

Hope it will work for you well!! I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. But keep in mind that the mopping part is nothing spectacular, it will just give you a clean look of the floor. It will never clean it throughly like you would. Pretty much any of those robots are the same, it doesn't matter if it costs $200 or $1000. It's just your personal preference if you are willing to spend extra $$$$ or not....
Don't relay on these videos to much either. They can not justify if the particular robot is good for you because your flooring is not the same as the one you are seeing on the youtube. The best for you is to buy one, test it for a few days, if you don't like it then just return it then buy another one until you find the one that suits your needs the best.
Best of luck. Hope this helps.

Just a word of advice, you should probably get your PC off of the carpet, even if you don't have a bottom intake it will still improve your temps massively to even have it on a piece of wood on top of the carpet.

I prefer the old version as the old version had better filtration it had the big cone in the center just as this one does but their was a smaller secondary dustbin and it had roots like the dyson vacuums and all the small dust particles would fall into the secondary dustbin and the post motor filter would stay cleaner for a longer period of time unlike the newer version.

We love our Sasung R7040 but have to replace it since it can no longer find it's way home about 7/10 times its run (which is every day), it seems to be a dying breed. It's D-shape includes a rubber blade it extends when it reaches walls, and wether it's carpet or hardwood or tile, it got ALL the crud in the corners, it seems like no other brand seems to care about that at all, incuding Samsung which abandoned the feature on all of it's Jetbot models that just came out. Sigh. that Samsung got corners better than a normal vacuum's crevice tool!

Hello Sir..I just wanted point an observation I've made with this vacuum. With these initial starting out the gate. Because of the camera on the bot.It tries to learn as it go along. And I noticed you are always in front of it or not giving it enough room for the permanent fixtures in the house. I think this constant trying to recalibrate, does not give you enough time to make a proper judgement on the poor little guy, trying his best to please you... I'm just saying :-)

It's possible, But I do this with ALL my robots and they all seem to be fine with it.

@@AdamsReviews Also, are you expecting too much from this Bot, as you would with a regular house vac or shop vac? Because it definitely seem too much for the size of the intake, as opposed to a house vac/shop vac.which is more powerful and with a wider intake. 🤔 😉

Tried the new one out as a Black Friday special. Still not worth it. The maps were not good (in my space), you have to manually change suction power each time, the vacuum would just wander around my relatively large space and never actually find all the entire area. I ran it 15-20 time and said, nope, packed it up and returned it. Ended up just buying another S9+.

I got one of these week ago to keep up with my little dog that sheds a lot. I have a tile house that’s 1350sqft. Let it run 70 mins and it mapped out my entire house first try. Works perfectly so far for what I need.
