Wow Jerome! I never would have expected you to get this far so quickly on a horse like Rowdy. The fact that he's never been formally trained or ridden ever, I thought it would take at least a month. You're a miracle worker. Obviously, Rowdy likes working with you and you have gained his trust. With my luck, I would be face down in a pile of dirt or a mud puddle. Great job!!!

Genomes style is EXTREMELY effective! As long as the horse is not in pain, as long as it’s building a relationship, making the horse happier and more comfortable in this world and moving the horse on to its next chapter, then why could/would Anyone complain? I can only think of one reason one might clap back on this and it’s jealousy.
Genome does amazing with those horses. Rowdy looks awesome under saddle too. Love seeing him gait. The love Gerome shows those horses is so calming for them.
WOW! What a difference that garage system makes. Jerome uses a lot of strong physical touch which I think is a very positive thing. The horses really respond well to his touch. Too many people use a soft touch when giving scratches to horses...other horses don't, so why should people. ❤ 🐎 🐐 🐕 🇺🇸

Ok, first I have to say....Vicki you look absolutely beautiful. You have that glow 🌟 that only grandma's get ☺️ Anna is a beautiful baby (congrats to my farm family for their new addition) I thought Blake was an amazing Son, but Bryson you are also amazing! What a kind, thoughtful thing to do for your folks. Now, Alan..... OMGOSH, YOUR GARAGE LOOKS FANTASTIC! I would be so happy to have a clean, straightened up garage A place for everything, and even better, everything in it's place! Looks awesome 👍. And last.....I can't believe that Jerome just jumped right on Rowdy's back 😳 The kid is absolutely an amazing young man who LOVES his horses. Right on camera he told Rowdy.....I love you boy 🐴❤️ Some people are not going to agree with his training ways, but all I can go by is what I see. And he's not pulling their heads around, he's just quick in his movements which doesn't give the horse time to think a naughty thought like buck, or run off. He's always flexing the horse, you have to remember he's dealing with a 15 year old STALLION who's never been ridden! His training ways might be different from others, but he has NO FEAR, he's constantly patting and reassuring the horse. And most of all....he truly loves them. That is not what I thought I would see after the gentle, thoughtful, & deliberate way Jerome was handling the horse the other day. This looked so chaotic and abrupt and yank-y on his mouth. Rowdy was not ready to be mounted; he was panting, anxious, not even confident with the bit being in his mouth, let alone accepting direction from it.

Congrats on Beautiful Ana( Anna?) So Sweet! I noticed the drawing on the door, Vicki, did you barrel race? I used to ride English, but my goal, at 62, is still to have a backyard horse, and I think western riding is for me! Jerome, he rubs all over each horse and I think he gains so much trust that way! He really loves each one!
Liked every thing I've watched with this man's methods so far. Quite,confident.Only thing I would have done different is I like to long line "drive" my horses with their tack on to teach them how to give and understand the bit a little before getting on the first time. Gives a more fair start for the horse to understand so one doesn't have to get in their mouth so much.If your horse shows that hes OK with progressing like this one did you can often get all the basics done in 1 day or at most a couple sessions. Its up to the horse to tell you how far to go each day. Rowdy is ready to go now, just needs wet saddle blankets. You're so lucky to find someone with skills and love for horses to help you.

Jerome has great skills and control, but it sure looks like that bit hurts the horse. Is this bit temporary to keep control for now and won't be needed later? Your garage looks beautiful.

Hi Alan, What a fantastic job Jerome does with all the horses. He is firm but loves them too. I was in awe that he can take a horse from a pasture or pen and can be riding them the same day, but he shows them such kindness and love its as if they know that he would never hurt them. One of the signs of a good horseman. Way to go Jerome !!!!!!. Well done you are so good for them. The garage looks fantastic really cool to have a place for everything.
